My Kind of Chinese New Year Day Celebration! ☺️❤️

Today, I am eager to share with you the unexpected joys and delightful surprises that unfolded during my Chinese New Year's Day, a day filled with cultural spectacles, festive vibes, and a touch of professional fulfilment.

On February 10, 2024, I am on manning duty with Mandani Bay at Radisson Blu. It is a uniquely memorable Chinese New Year celebration. As I attended to my responsibilities, the hotel's lobby transformed into a vibrant stage for a traditional lion dance—a spectacle deeply rooted in Chinese culture and tradition.

What a stroke of luck! Positioned conveniently at our Mandani Bay booth in the lobby, I experienced the lively and spirited performance. The energetic lion dancers moved with such grace and precision, enveloping the space in an atmosphere of festivity. Although I couldn't capture the intricate details of the dance due to being engrossed in live videos, I managed to seize moments with the second set of dragon dancers, a testament to the unexpected joys that unfold during work.

When I'm off from manning duty, I decide to extend the celebration by visiting the adjacent SM City. To my delight, the festivities continued as dragon dancers weaved their way through the mall's corridors. The vibrant colours, rhythmic movements, and jubilant atmosphere echoed the rich traditions associated with the Chinese New Year. It was a visual feast, and I couldn't help but be swept away by the infectious energy of the performances.

Amidst the cultural celebrations, I seamlessly transitioned into a meeting with a valued Manulife client at the Bubble Tea Station. A big congratulations to her foresight and commitment to protecting not only her future but the future of her family. It's moments like these, witnessing clients take decisive steps towards financial security, that add profound meaning to my professional journey.

My Chinese New Year's Day turned out to be more than just a date on the calendar; it was an immersion into traditions, a celebration of cultural diversity.
