A lot has changed about higher education since I graduated from a computer networking course 14 years ago. At that time, higher education was seen as something essential for everyone, something that should be truly sought after and experienced by each person, as a great legacy to be left for their children, I remember how parents (including my mother) created This path, which was studying in elementary school, high school and college, was how it should be. If you didn't have college, you had nothing.

It turns out that since then, a lot has changed, many things have arrived such as increasingly powerful cell phones with a thousand and one uses, social networks that are a true complete and virtual store, artificial intelligence that can simply do anything, so where What is higher education today? After more than 10 years I graduated. It's an interesting question to ask, after all, I don't think it's wrong for you to want to follow this path of education through college, but, as said, a lot has changed.

In my case, I could have done more specializations, postgraduate degrees, courses or anything else that would add value, but I chose not to, I don't know if it was the right decision for me, but, to this day, it never hurt to stay only with the completion of a higher education course. I've had a job since I left college, it's not surprising, but well, I have a job that has given me great results and that's why I'm here to this day.

I believe that education and knowledge should be a priority in anyone's life, but lately it seems that higher education has lost its due value, especially for the job market, which I have seen in my friendship circles, there are many friends who have a higher education course, but they are unemployed or have an average salary, nothing too incredible, the most insane thing is when I see a friend who has a degree and 2 postgraduate degrees experiencing difficulties because she can't get a job.

This seems strange, out of place, how can someone with so much training not get a job? It turns out that in my opinion and experience from the information I have, technical education is on an equal footing with higher education, so the job market chooses to hire people who already know how to do something and not those who have just left college who despite of having all the knowledge, not the lived experience of situations or what you will do in your job. I believe this also has to do with the value of labor, after all, a person who only has a technical course may not be able to argue for a high salary like a person with a degree.

In this way, companies will obviously opt for cost-benefit, the cheaper they can pay and in return have a high quality of labor, this is the path they want to go, we are already experiencing this with the application of AI in various sectors to replace humans and reduce costs. Progress always arrives, unfortunately sometimes it causes great harm to a portion of the population, but it is the cycle of life and it will probably always be like this.

So, what I would recommend and would even like to do, for example, for my children, would be to help them complete a higher education course, but then think about something that was a little outside of that, like something related to finances, shares, passive earnings or even some informal work, whatever, but if it's something related to entrepreneurship and all the financial freedom it can provide us, I will definitely support my children in this.

I reinforce the idea with the simple facts of seeing so many entrepreneurs who only have high school education, but who opened a business or created something that made them stand out, with a positive income of great value, a value that even I with a college degree could not achieve. for my life. So what would be better? Go to college and die working for a salaried job that barely pays the bills or be objective about something and even with little study, achieve something that professionally earns you thousands in value of your local currency? It's a good reflection, isn't it?

Now, if I could choose an area to invest in and go further, after Hive entered my life, it would definitely be some course in the area of economics, such as: administration, accounting sciences, economic sciences, financial management and one that I saw that I didn't know it existed, but I was curious: degree in Blockchain, cryptocurrencies and finance in the digital age. It would be interesting to do something completely new, outside of the technology area, thus creating new challenges for me and an extra motivation to learn.

Therefore, I am sure that one of these courses would help me a lot to evolve within Hive and this economic universe that I want to participate more and more: shares, market, cryptos, assets, graphics, better management of resources, and could even improve my gains here, as I would have more targeted knowledge and information than I would learn in a higher education course in the area of economics. In the end, learning something new, regardless of what it is, is certainly the best investment we can make.

Muita coisa mudou em relação ao ensino superior desde que me formei no curso de redes de computadores há 14 anos. Naquela época, o ensino superior era visto como algo essencial para todos, algo que deveria ser realmente procurado e vivenciado por cada pessoa, como um grande legado a ser deixado para os seus filhos, lembro de como os pais (incluindo a minha mãe) criavam este caminho, que era estudar no ensino fundamental, médio e faculdade, era assim que deveria ser. Se você não tinha faculdade, não tinha nada.

Acontece que de lá para cá, muita coisa mudou, muitas coisas chegaram como celulares cada vez mais potentes e com mil e uma utilidades, redes sociais que são uma verdadeira loja completa e virtual, inteligencia artificial que pode simplesmente fazer qualquer coisa, então, onde fica o ensino superior hoje? Depois de mais de 10 anos em que me formei. É uma pergunta interessante de se fazer, afinal, não acho errado você querer seguir este caminho de educação passando por uma faculdade, mas, como dito, muita coisa mudou.

No meu caso, poderia ter feitos mais especializações, pós-graduações, cursos ou qualquer outra coisa que agregasse valor, mas optei por não fazer, não sei se foi a decisão mais correta para mim, mas, até hoje, nunca fez mal ter ficado apenas com a conclusão de um curso de ensino superior. Desde que sai da faculdade tenho um emprego, não é uma maravilha, mas bem, tenho um emprego que me deu grandes frutos e por isso estou aqui até hoje.

Acredito que a educação e conhecimento deve ser prioridade na vida de qualquer pessoa, mas ultimamente parece que o ensino superior perdeu o seu devido valor, principalmente para o mercado de trabalho, o que tenho visto nos meus círculos de amizades, são muitos amigos que têm um curso superior, mas estão desempregados ou possuem uma remuneração mediana, nada de muito incrível, o mais insano é quando vejo uma amiga que têm uma graduação e 2 pós-graduações passando por dificuldades por não conseguir emprego.

Isso chega a ser estranho, deslocado, como alguém com tantas formações não consegue emprego? Acontece que na minha opinião e vivência de informações que tenho, o ensinamento técnico está de igual para igual com o ensino superior, então, o mercado de trabalho opta por contratar pessoas que já sabem fazer algo e não quem acabou de sair da faculdade que apesar de ter todo o conhecimento, não a experiência vivida das situações ou do que irá fazer em seu emprego. Acredito que isso também têm a ver com o valor de mão de obra, afinal uma pessoa que só tem um curso técnico, talvez não consiga argumentar para conseguir um salário alto como uma pessoa graduada.

Desta forma, as empresas irão optar obviamente pelo custo beneficio, quanto mais barato puderem pagar e em troca terem uma qualidade de mão de obra alta, é por este caminho que elas querem ir, já estamos vivenciando isso com a aplicação de IA em vários setores para substituir humanos e diminuir custos. O progresso sempre chega, infelizmente às vezes ele causa um grande mal para uma parcela da população, mas é o ciclo da vida e provavelmente sempre será assim.

Então, o que eu recomendaria e até gostaria de fazer, por exemplo, para os meus filhos, seria ajudá-los sim a concluir um curso superior, mas depois pensar em algo que fosse um pouco para fora disso, como algo relacionado a finanças, ações, ganhos passivos ou até mesmo algum trabalho informal, que seja, mas se for algo relacionado com o empreendedorismo e toda a liberdade financeira que ele pode nos proporcionar, com certeza apoiarei meus filhos para isso.

Reforço a ideia com os simples fatos de ver tantos empreendedores que têm apenas ensino médio, mas que abriram algum negócio ou criaram algo que os fez ter um grande destaque, com uma receita positiva de muito valor, valor esse que nem eu com uma faculdade consegui para a minha vida. Então, o que seria melhor? Fazer uma faculdade e morrer trabalhando por um emprego assalariado que mal paga as contas ou ser objetivo em algo e mesmo com pouco estudo, conseguir algo que profissionalmente lhe renda milhares em valor de sua moeda local? É uma boa reflexão não é?

Agora, se pudesse escolher uma área para investir e ir mais longe, depois da Hive ter entrada na minha vida, com certeza seria algum curso na área da economia, como: administração, ciências contábeis, ciências econômicas, gestão financeira e um que vi que não sabia que existia, mas fiquei curioso: graduação em Blockchain, criptomoedas e finanças na era digital. Seria interessante fazer algo totalmente novo, fora da área de tecnologia, criando assim novos desafios para mim e uma motivação a mais para aprender.

Com isso, tenho certeza que algum destes cursos iriam me ajudar bastante a evoluir dentro da Hive e deste universo econômico que quero tanto participar cada vez mais: ações, mercado, criptos, ativos, gráficos, uma melhor administração dos recursos, podendo até mesmo melhorar meus ganhos aqui, já que teria um conhecimento e informações mais direcionadas que aprenderia em um curso superior na área da economia. No fim, aprender algo novo, independente do que seja, com certeza é o melhor investimento que podemos realizar.
