(RP) Sometimes there are small details that we don't pay attention to, but which nevertheless permeate us, are recorded and then forgotten, but continue to influence us unconsciously.
At the time they have no meaning or use, a bit like an unusual pebble you see on a path that catches your eye for a moment but which you don't bother to look at more closely or pick up.
The scene, the image, but it could also be a smell, a sound, a taste, a physical sensation or an emotion, may return a few days (or weeks, or months) later to make sense.
This usually happens via a new stimulus that reactivates it, and the link between the two may elude us in the manner of dream meaning.

This analysis I'm sharing starts with the slip of the tongue of our innkeeper in the VILLAGE, who, wanting to send us off to pick wild strawberries, asked us to go and pick bananas.
If his unconscious was at work in this slip of the tongue, mine too reacted like an echo, before quickly forgetting the incident by repressing or rationalizing it.

The second event that brought out this memory was my visit to the neighboring village to return the cow they had lent us.
This village is not very different from ours, but their green thatched roofs have an exotic touch that reactivated the image of the banana.

Since then, I've been caught up in a daydream of our village in the tropics, on the shores of a very peaceful ocean, where life would be easy, fishing fruitful and bananas close at hand.
We'd be visited by tourists from time to time, with whom we'd share our simple way of life and a few handicrafts based on shellfish, coconuts...

I'm not in the mood for a contest today, too immersed in my reverie, but I'll empty my pockets of their papers all the same.

(RP) Il y a parfois des petits détails auxquels on ne fait pas attention, mais qui nous imprègnent cependant, ils sont enregistrés puis oubliés mais continuent à nous influencer de manière inconsciente.
Sur le moment ils n'ont aucun sens ou aucune utilité, un peu comme un caillou inhabituel que l'on voit sur un chemin qui attire notre regard un instant mais qu'on ne prend pas la peine d'observer de plus près ou de ramasser.
La scène, l'image, mais ça peut être une odeur, un son, un gout, une sensation physique ou une émotion, peuvent revenir quelques jours (ou semaines, ou mois) plus tard pour faire sens.
Cela se produit en général par l'intermédiaire d'un nouveau stimulus qui le réactive et dont le lien entre les deux peut nous échapper à la manière du sens des rêves.

Cette analyse que je partage a pour départ le lapsus de notre aubergiste du VILLAGE qui voulant nous envoyer chercher des fraises des bois, nous a demandé d'aller cueillir des bananes.
Si son inconscient était à l'oeuvre dans ce lapsus, le mien aussi a réagi comme en echo avant d'oublier bien vite cet incident en le refoulant ou le rationnalisant.

Le deuxième évènement qui a fait émerger ce souvenir est ma visite dans le village voisin pour rendre la vache qu'ils nous avaient prêté.
Ce village n'est pas bien différent du notre, mais leurs toits de chaume vert ont un petit côté exotique qui a réactivé l'image de la banane.
.
Depuis, je suis pris dans une rêverie de notre village qui serait installé sous les tropiques, au bord d'un océan très pacifique, où la vie serait facile, les pêches fructueuses et les bananes à portée de main.
Nous aurions la visite de touristes de temps en temps avec lesquels nous partagerions notre mode de vie simple et quelques productions artisanales à base de coquillages, de noix de coco...
.
Je n'ai pas l'esprit à faire un concours aujourd'hui, trop plongé dans ma rêverie, mais je viderai quand même mes poches de leurs papiers.
