Wednesday Walking on a New Trail

An entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.

Well, it's not really a new trail...it's just a trail I haven't walked on since last year. It's one of those minor trails that runs along the marshland near our home. Now that I have a new camera set up, I wanted to get a feel for the water birds that might be on this stretch of water that I (hope to) get better images of this week.

As luck would have it, there apparently a bit of a sand pile up along the shoreline that I found. I don't know if this materialized after all of the heavy rain and flooding of late, but a make shift path seems new. I had to most certainly check it out...

The views were fantastic, as always. I didn't have the new Canon with me to get some photos of our feathered friends, but I will next time.

There were plenty of ducks and water fowl about, but better images of my neighbors I will save for another day. How nice would it be to be able to come down to this place, every morning, with a tumbler of coffee, a camera and lens, and maybe a small snack to take in the sights? Fantasy, sure...especially when work is calling. Maybe my little SPS and Hive cache will some day let these little fantasies become realities some day. Hey, I can at least dream about it, right???
