Wednesday Walking for May Flowers

An entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.

I walked over to the nearby campus that I attended college at. The campus has come a long way with the beautification of the site. When I attended, the area was mostly barren and dry. Today, the university’s group has made great strides in planting native flowers and plants on site. That’s something that was unheard of when I went to school in the late 1990’s.

Yeah, I’m old.

To start the walk, I passed by a little Robin who happened to have just relieved himself. A good start to the walk!

I then photographed some early May flowers in bloom.

Years ago, I always wanted to pick up an art degree. No such luck, but I had always wanted to see the kiln/oven on site…well today was my lucky day.

On the way back to the house, I took on the long-missed sun’s rays…

Honestly, it was a perfectly fantastic walk about this morning. It was fun to walk through here with the sun out this morning. Honestly, I used to have some of my best walks through this area during the COVID lock down days...this place was like a ghost town with all the kids sent home. Now, it's bustling with life again. Excellent!
