Views of the Driftless Region : Nº III

The winter carries on this part of the world. The main channel of the Mississippi River still has yet to freeze over, but I imagine after the next cold spell due here, ice will finally form. With frosty temperatures about, the winter scenes continue to be beautiful.

The scene along the snowy Mississippi River was mostly chilly and snowy. It's always fun to sneak out to some part of the river during lunch to get a few photos in from time to time.

The buoys are starting to freeze over, and the ice was floating by too.

Another easy enough hop along the river. It truly has been fun getting back to basics to take in the river views here in the #driftless region.
