monomad challenge : more views from a wisconsin prairie

My entry for the #monomad challenge.

Typically, I love to share photos of this part of the world in color. There is nothing like capturing the morning sun light on the green of prairie grass and the colors of wildflowers. Except, as is this case, when converting everything to a mild black and white hue.

Typically, I find myself attraced to dark hues and bold shadows...such as the photographs of the Bauhaus movement. For this set, I wanted to experiment with something "lighter," if that makes sense. Something that spoke to the late July sun on a late July morning in Wisconsin. That was the attempt, anyway...

Everymorning hike at the place yields something more exhilarting to photograph. With some luck, more photos will come forward that I am to share.
