For today's #beersaturday adventure, I went with an old favorite for my session beer. Finding a 12 pack at the local grocery store, I found my favorite Wisconsin beer: the New Glarus Brewing Company's Moon Man.

The "no coast" pale ale delivers again. It's the perfect pale ale to sip on while grilling (did I mention I was grilling again today??) Not too strong in ABV, but very big on taste. It's a little old but I'm making it work. Like any pale ale, the fresher you can find it the better it is.

With over cast skies most of the day, and humidity high, we decided to grill out some meat CSA hamburger and egg plant. Our garden produced the egg plant, so yeah, all the work is finally starting to pay off.

First it was to get the lump charcoal going...

Then to get the grill warmed up...

Then to throw the savanna raised and fed beef...

I went with the reverse sear method again. I put the hamburger on the cold side of the grill and let it go for about 6 minutes. Then I throw them on the hide and sear both sides for about one minute per side.

And abracadabra...

The cheeseburgers turned out very nice. The egg plant worked out well too, although next time I might try a different prep prior to grilling.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my #beersaturday. It was a long day, but we made it again - until next weekend!

Charlie Watts...and that is a great song by the Stones! One of my go to tunes when having a few beers with the local bar's touch tunes, lol
