Beer Saturday : Three Floyd's Zombie Dust

My entry for this week's #beersaturday share, as initiated by @detlev, is a return to grilling, bratwursts, nice weather, and beer. This entry features an Undead Pale Ale. And it's a good one.

Earlier today, we headed to nearby Viroqua, Wisconsin, to partake in their farmer's market and enjoy the day. Along the way, we picked up some local bratwursts and veggies. We also stopped at the town's food co op and I noticed some (somewhat) fresh Zombie Dust, so I had to pick it up, too

I love the Zombie Dust. It's not a hazy, per se, IPA but it's solid. No off taste after taste, no green notes, no funky smell...just a good fashioned pale ale coming in at 6.5% ABV.

After a long day of driving and shopping, we finally made it back home and I started up the grill. When I see bratwurst in the store, I know I have to grill them up for dinner. Today was no exception.

With my partner in crime next to me, I was able to grill the brats up in about 15 minutes. Ms. Mabel was loving the smell and dreaming of bratwursts.

I, of course, was loving the beer and the beautiful afternoon.

When all was said and done, I managed to get two undead pale ales in, and have dinner ready to go. Delicious!

A little mustard, kraut, and rye buns...what finish to what a day. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the three day weekend over here.
