Beer Saturday : Half Acre's Boden IPA
For this weekend's #beersaturday fun, I grabbed a four-pack of an India Pale Ale from Half Acre Brewing Company. The brewery is based in Chicago; somehow, they seem to have made it this far north at this point as I've noticed their beers in a few grocery stores of late. Hey, the can is cool and retro..why not?
It's a smooth IPA at 6.7%. I like it...it's over the top in terms of hops. It also has a smooth profile to it. It's the perfect beer for our first bonfire and grilling adventure of the new year.
Temperatures in the mid 40Fs are something to appreciate this time of year. Today was one of those days when you could smell and hear spring in the air. Why not get a bonfire going, the grill fired up, and a few beers in me?
Tonight's meal was an old classic; cheeseburgers and veggie kabobs. The final product after two Bodens was the following...
The veggies got a bit burnt, but otherwise, not a bad first grill feast for 2023. If you enjoy a pint from time to time, too, please check out the link below to join in the fun:

Until next week!
