A Sublime Sunday in Town
For this week's #sublimesunday, as inspired by @c0ff33a, we took a family bike ride through our local marsh. The fun thing about the marsh is that it is in town, and only a five minute ride from our home.
The rain was heavy again last week, and the trails were closed for a few days due to flooding. Fortunately, the water receded enough by this weekend for families to enjoy the area.
With the higher waters, that also implies gnats and mosquitoes. I didn't put any bug spray on, and opted instead for the June flannel look; still, when you are old like me, it's more about utility than function. At least that what's I keep telling my wife (she doesn't believe me).
Aside from the high water, there were beautiful blue skies:
A moth in flight that my daughter and I followed:
Bull thistle in bloom:
Also, some wild strawberries/raspberries along the trail. I wasn't feeling brave today, so I didn't nibble.
All in all, it was a beautiful day to do a family bike ride. I of course brought along my new camera and lens in hopes of catching some water birds, but luck was not with me. The last time through this area, we saw herons and plenty of geese. No love today.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my #sublimesunday in the green. As always, I hope you too had a wonderful Sunday and weekend as well. Until next weekend, hoping everyone has a wonderful start to the new week!
Watch out for the human traffickers at hivefest. You wont know it until its too late. STAY AWAY! Beware, traffickers can be women or men! They will act nice until they dont. There is human trafficking going on around this type of crypto. I have witnessed it. They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, DHS, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem if you run into one of them you may want to immediately shoot them in the face. 187, annihilate, asphyxiate, assassinate, behead, bleed, bludgeon, boil, bomb, bone, burn, bury, butcher, cap, casket, choke, chop, club, crucify, crush, curb, decapitate, decimate, deflesh, demolish, destroy, devein, disembowel, dismember, drown, electrocute, eliminate, end, euthanize, eviscerate, execute, explode, exterminate, extinguish, finish, fry, grind, guillotine, gut, hack, hang, hit, ice, implode, incinerate, kill, liquidate, lynch, massacre, maul, microwave, mutilate, neutralize, obliterate, off, pop, poison, punnish, quarter, ruin, shank, shock, shoot, shred, skin, slay, slaughter, smoke, smother, snipe, snuff, squish, stab, strangle, stone, suffocate, suicide, SWAT, swing, terminate, torture, terrorize, whack, waste, wreck. Looks like a great time man! I actually decided to nibble on a mulberry for the first time the other day when we were out for a walk. It was not what I was expecting it to be lol but all the birds and groundhogs are going nuts for the tree so I figured I would give it a whirl. I didn’t die thankfully hahaha but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. Still not bad for a tree that’s 40 feet tall and producing edible berries!
I need to get more adventurous; between all the plants and mushrooms and berries, I feel like most are edible. I blame my parents for putting the fear of God into us as kids whenever it came to eating wild plants, lol
Looks like fun. Never too old or too young to rock the flannel look, or flanno as we call it here in Australia.
I like that ... flanno. I'm going to start using it over here - my wife will be impressed, lol
