Love Playing With The Dead

Zephanian was an artist, but in a field that no one wanted to hear about. He was a beautician of the dead. He changed their soulless or destroyed bodies so skillfully that when you looked at them, you thought they were only sleeping and would soon open their eyes and get up.

Because of the job Zephanyan had, most people avoided him and when they passed by, they pretended not to have seen him and completely ignored his existence, and for that reason he had become an isolated person. .

But recently this has changed a little. Zephanian had met someone who not only did not ignore him, but always caressed his being with his admiring gaze. His name was Steinar and he was the husband of one of Zephanian's clients.

When Zephanian had finished working on Steinar's husband, Silvanus, Steinar had looked at Silvanus' face with sad and tearful eyes and put his hand on his cheek and asked Zephanian to leavd him alone with his husband for a while.

Zephanian had left his working place and closed the door behind him, and while he was standing there waiting for Steinar, he heard sounds that caused him intense disgust.

After a few minutes, Steinar had come out of the room with a messy look and said to Zephanian:
"I know you figured out what I was doing. Do you think I'm disgusting?"

Zephanian hadn't said anything and just lowered his head. Steinar had said in a sad voice:
"So you're thinking the same thing."

And while his eyes had been filled with tears, he had continued:
"Please understand me. There's a fire in my heart. I'm burning. I can't believe Silvanus is going to leave me and go into the cold ground."

And he had knelt on the ground, covered his face with his hands as his shoulders were shaking, and had continued to cry. Zephanian, who had developed a sympathy towards him and had touched his sadness, had sat next to him and hugged him to calm him down.

Now a year had passed since this case and Steinar still had not taken off the mourning clothes, but he regularly came to Zephanian's workplace and watched him beautify the dead.

Zephnian thought that finally a light had shone on the darkness of his loneliness and that Steinar would soon express his love to him and the two would marry each other.

He didn't know that when he left the room to buy food or to do other things, Steinar would go to the corpses and make love to them to relive the memory of his co-sleeping with the corpse of Silvanus, the husband who paid the least attention to him while alive.
