BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge

In battles with the Stampede Ruleset, Trample retriggers infinitely as long as the trampling unit keeps killing other units. Therefore, the Trample Ability is the most effective ability in battles with the Stampede Ruleset. Also, the most effective Summoner is Possibilus the Wise because Possibilus the Wise grants Trample Ability, Reach Ability and +2 Health to all friendly monsters.

Unfortunately, my Possibilus the Wise card is at level 1, so it is not very advantageous to use this card against summoners of Level 4 and over in the Silver and Gold leagues. My goal right now is to buy as many Rebellion packs as I can, then I will upgrade my Possibilist the Wise card to level 2. I can upgrade my cards in the future anyway. I don't want to miss the Rebellion pre-sale opportunities.

  • Trample Ability : When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target with a Melee attack, it will perform another Melee attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team.

Today I will share one of my most interesting battles, I hope you like it.

  • Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
  • Broken Arrows: Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
  • Active Units : Fire, Earth, and Life
  • Mana Cap : 38

MY STRATEGY

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the recent 5 battles of the opposing player and took into consideration the rulesets of the battle, I was almost certain that the opposing player would prefer Magic Attack Monsters, so I determined my strategy accordingly.

In this battle, I will use Magic Reflect Ability and Amplify Ability, which are the most effective abilities against magic attack monsters. I think these two abilities are the most effective combo against magic attackers.

First of all, I will choose Grandmaster Rathe as the summoner, so all monsters in my team will have +1 Armor, Void Armor Ability, and Amplify Ability. And I will put Monsters with Magic Reflect Ability in the first two positions. I will also use 2 Monsters with the Repair Ability. In this way, I believed that Magic Attack Monsters could be destroyed more easily.

Summoner : GRANDMASTER RATHE

Grandmaster Rathe is a Life Summoner who gives +1 Armor, Void Armor Ability, and Amplify Ability to all friendly monsters.

  • Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Unit's armor before its Health.
  • Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy units by 1.


Position 1: BLINDING REFLECTOR

Blinding Reflector is a Life Monster that can attack the target with a Melee Attack and has Magic Reflect Ability at level 5. The main reason I added Blinding Reflector to the team was because it has the Magic Reflect Ability, and I put it in the first position.

  • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage (rounded up) back to the attacker.


Position 2: PELACOR CONJURER

Pelacor Conjurer is a Life Monster that has no attack power and has the Flying Ability and the Magic Reflect Ability from level 4. The main reason I added Pelacor Conjurer to my team was because it has the Magic Reflect Ability, and I put it in the second position.

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage (rounded up) back to the attacker.


Position 3: CORSAIR BOSUN

Corsair Bosun is a Life Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Reach Ability and Reflection Shield Ability.

  • Reach Ability : Melee attack Units with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team.
  • Reflection Shield Ability : This Unit doesn't take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire.


Position 4: SCAVO HIRELING

Scavo Hireling is a Neutral Monster that has no attack power and has the Repair Ability. The main reason I added Scavo Hireling to my team was because it has the Repair Ability, and I put it in the fourth position.

  • Repair Ability : Restores a third of max armor to the friendly Unit whose armor has taken the most damage.


Position 5: ADELADE BRIGHTWING

Adelade Brightwing is a Life Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has Flying Ability, Repair Ability and Resurrect Ability at level 2. The main reasons I added Adelade Brightwing to the team was because it has Repair Ability and Resurrect Ability, and I put it in the fifth position.

  • Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
  • Repair Ability : Restores a third of max armor to the friendly Unit whose armor has taken the most damage.
  • Resurrect Ability : When a friendly Unit dies it is brought back to life with 1 Health. This ability can only trigger once per battle.


Position 6: DJINN RENOVA

Djinn Renova is a monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has 3 Magic Attacks, 3 Speed, 6 Health, Strengthen Ability at level 3. I put Djinn Renova in the last position.

  • Strengthen Ability : All friendly Units have their Health increased by 1.

BATTLE COMMENTS

Round 1

In the first round, using the Magic Reflect Ability and Amplify Ability together worked very well, so the Magic Attack Monsters on the opposing team received very serious damage, and one was even destroyed. Even if the enemy monsters managed to destroy the Blinding Reflector, it was brought back with 1 health thanks to the Resurrect Ability.

Round 2

Enemy magic attack monsters were having an incredibly difficult time against the combo of Magic Reflect Ability and Amplify Ability, and the brutal back damage they received allowed them to take very serious damage.

In the second round, although the enemies managed to destroy the Blinding Reflector, they were also destroyed. In the second round, 3 more monsters from the opposing team were destroyed and only 2 monsters remained. From my team, only Blinding Reflector could be destroyed.

Round 3

In the third round, while another monster from the opposing team was destroyed, no monster from my team could be destroyed. Only the Unicorn Mustang remains on the opposing team, and it has only 5 health left.

Round 4

In the fourth round, it was not difficult to destroy the Unicorn Mustang, which had only 5 health left, and my team managed to win this battle.

Although the battle cost 38 mana, it only lasted 4 rounds. Frankly, I did not expect this battle to last so short and my team to win so easily, and at the end of the battle, while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, 5 monsters on my team were still alive, which showed that my strategy worked very well in this battle. Especially in this battle, using the Magic Reflect Ability and Amplify Ability together was very useful. Frankly, these two abilities made it incredibly easy to destroy all the magic attack monsters on the opposing team, so I attach great importance to using these two abilities in such battles.
