Riding The Movies @ Universal Studios Singapore

Hello! It's my first post in the Pinmapple community and thanks for reading this!

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to visit Universal Studios Singapore once again! And I thought it would be a great chance for me to share some photos of this attraction with readers on Hive. A little history, Universal Studios Singapore opened in 2010, and I have visited the theme park in 2011 and 2018, so this is actually my 3rd time here!

The theme park is broken down into several themed zones:

• Hollywood
• New York
• Sci-Fi City
• Ancient Egypt
• The Lost World
• Far Far Away

Like most theme parks, there are thrilling rollercoasters and interesting rides to take. But if you are someone like me, who isn't fond of these scary stuff, or have motion sickness, there are actually lots of do in the theme park!

Without further ado, let's explore the theme park together!

This is the structure you will see at the park entrance. It is actually very crowded, so don't be misled by my photos! Hehe!

Some Sesame Street stuff near the entrance of the park! Brings back memories of my childhood for sure!

Doesn't Elmo look cute as the "Statue Of Liberty"?

At periodic intervals, they do have various characters out and about in the park for visitors to take photos with them. Here's Cookie Monster and Oscar!

Moving on, you can find these interesting buildings in Ancient Egypt, as well as the popular "Revenge Of The Mummy" ride!

They really put a lot of effort in creating the feels of Egypt for sure!

And here's the Jurassic Park! Fans of the Jurassic Park would love this area because there are wet rides, flying rides, and lots of dinosaurs!

Here's a photo of a dinosaur soft toy that I took at the souvenir shop. Isn't it cute? Haha!

And finally, we are going to Far Far Away!

Over here, there's Shrek 4D show and some mild rides suited for kids.

I thought this looked interesting... It looks like a combination of Puss in Boots and Jack and the Beanstalk?

One section of the theme park is under construction and it's opening soon! And that's Minion Land!

But not to worry, they do sell these cute little minions at the souvenir shop in case you want to bring one home! Hehe!

Wrapping up this visit, this pair of rollercoasters are the highlight of the theme park! It's the Battlestar Galactica’s Human vs Cylon. The rides are not for the faint hearted as there are 360 degrees turns and one of them would leave your legs dangling in mid-air! That said, the queueing times are still long because we have so many thrill seekers here!

Zooming out, we soak in the sights and sounds of this fantastic theme park, and have our lunch at one of the many restaurants and bars here.

Hope this little preview gives you what to expect at Universal Studios Singapore! There's definitely a lot of more things to do, and things to see, and this post would stretch to 100 photos if I had to share every attraction within this park. Hehe!
