Christmas 🎄🌲🎄 is not just a day of fun and merriment, it holds more meaning than that which each and everyone of us know perfectly well...

Christmas is a season of love, care, happiness, thanksgiving, oneness, unity and fun...

There is this special kind of joy I feel whenever the year is coming to an end, this feeling is undescribable but it is a good feeling and this feeling comes in form of gratitude towards seeing the end of the year...

Gratitude should be our first feeling whenever Christmas is on its way because it's not by our power and might that we are alive and kicking to witness that beautiful day, many want to witness that day but where are they today??? They are not privileged to be here and for us to see that day and also enjoy it with our loved ones, it means grace is speaking for us and that is why we have to be forever grateful...

If I tell you I am the most happiest person on earth today would you believe me??, I don't expect you to believe me so easily because you don't know how many Christmas ⛄ i have missed in the past thanks to sickness...

I am a living testimony and yes I know I am because I remember those years ago, it all started when I was much more younger and that should be when I was 9-12 years old, that particular age of mine is when I get terribly sick most, it worsen so much that it became an habitual stuff, imagine falling sick on every Christmas day...

Sickness always hit me whenever christmas celebration is approaching, i get sick from 20- 28 every year back then, this sickness pulls me down that I never get to enjoy any of the Christmas celebrations and goodies...

Imagine spending every of your Christmas on sick bed and not being able to enjoy what your friends and families are enjoying and you are been confined to just one position and to one particular meal which is pap, imagine yourself on the bed while others are having fun time outside with other members of the family then you will understand what I am saying better...

I was sick up until the point where I couldn't even eat my favorite food (porridge), I even went to a birthday party 🥳 that year and I couldn't do anything while other kids where jumping and enjoying themselves on the bouncing castle, I couldn't even tattoo my face because I was terribly sick 🤢...

It happened once and before we all knew it, it became a yearly Christmas sickness, I always get sick about 5 days to christmas and I wasn't happy because I could neither eat, drink nor have fun, I just remain very close to my mother who finds joy in making me happy...

Thinking it was going to be a constant experience, it all came to alt one day and that particular year was how my seasonal Christmas sickness didn't surface and I enjoyed every part of it and it started becoming an habit...

I started living a normal life on every christmas without going to the hospital or being admitted because I believe the great one heard my cries and delivered me from seasonal sickness and that is why I will forever remain a testimony...

One thing most people don't know is that Christmas is not just a day to have fun and merriment, it is a day set aside specially to celebrate the birth of Christ...

It is a day where old time grudges are forgiven and forgotten, it is a day where we all let go of all the ill feeling towards our friends and neighbours and we come together in one accord bounded by love and unity to celebrate Christ birth...

Christmas is meant to be celebrated with our friends, enemies, families and loved ones, that day is not just any day, it is day we all need to come together as one and spread love and care around in the presence of fun and merriment...

If we all can do this every year then I bet even Christ will always be happy to see you all celebrate him and smiles and happiness shall be continuously added into your lives...

There are lots of things I love about Christmas including the fun and merriment but I have one particular thing that makes me look forward to it...

Christmas comes once in a year and that is why we never miss the opportunity to make it memorable, we seize every opportunity to make that particular day a beautiful and memorable one for us and our loved ones...

The main thing I love about Christmas is that on this beautiful day, I get to meet my other families and relatives from far and near and we celebrate Christmas together, hmmnn🤔🤔 let us call it a family Thanksgiving...

Just as I have many muslim families, I also have many christian families too and not just that, I have friends and neighbors who are also christians and whenever Christmas sets in we never forget to meet with each other in my house where we have a family feast and thanks giving...

Christmas is best enjoyed in the company of friends, loved ones and families and whenever it's Christmas we all let go of all the grudges and bitterness of our heart to enjoy that beautiful day in happiness and love and we all come with positive vibes and pure energy...

We play games and have fun together all in one accord and for many years this has become a tradition and as for me, I don't celebrate Christmas in only my house, I celebrate with other people too by visiting them in their respective homes and not just for the fun and merriment but to spread love around...

I am someone who have families, friends and loved ones in every nook and cranny of my city and that is why I never hesitate to celebrate Christmas with each and everyone of them, I make sure I go to each and everyone of them bearing good tidings...

Christmas 🌲☃️ day is the day I set aside to do whatever will make my maker happy and doing that will also ease my heart of every unwanted feelings because I will make sure I create beautiful memories that day, one that would be remembered for a lifetime...

In summary, apart from the merriment and fun, I enjoy Christmas because is a avenue of love, happiness and unity, it is a day where we all come together to celebrate Christ all in the company of enjoyment and family gatherings...

In conclusion, let us all cultivate the habit of spreading love and happiness around on this beautiful day because it is said in the holy scriptures that CHRIST IS LOVE...
