Nobody is an island of knowledge in this beautiful yet ugly world lol, when i talk about being a victim to scamming or being scammed in one way or the other, it doesn't necessarily have to do with only money based, it can be in form of other things such as time and so on but the fact is that most of all our scamming experience is based on the monetary aspect and that why being scammed of money is always the first thought upon any scamming activities that happens to us...

It is indeed a huge fact that majority of us have been victims to scamming even if it's not many times, we have at least fallen victim to it one time and that means being scammed in inevitable...

You can be scammed while purchasing a particular product, you can be scammed in monetary value, you can be scanned materially but the point is you lost something at the end of it...

Nobody is perfect and that is why the brilliant and intelligent once also fall victims to scam and that doesn't mean they are dull, it is because the scammers are perfect at what they do and one of their most working strategy is luring you in with an enticing offer, one which one can't resist and then they toss you the bait and the moment you eventually grab it and feeling relaxed, you end up being victimized and that is how they have been making away with it for years...

Well well well that is that about being scammed with your intelligence and brilliance, without wasting too much time on my introduction to the topic, I will love to take you all on a quick journey of how I was indirectly scammed in the famous MMM...

This is quite a funny topic for my experience lolz, without you telling me it's funny, I know the topic is quite hilarious though and that is why I will leave it that way...

Some years ago, I was still an high school student back then earning peanuts from my feeding allowance daily and prior to being promoted to the senior class, I had been saving some money for future use, I was saving up for an android phone back then because I wanted to also be in vogue...

Back then I had #16,000 naira saved up and I was so eager to get an android phone and one day my best friend brought me an irresistible deal which enticed me but I was scared to deal with it but the devil was so powerful that I succumbed lol...

He told me about the new business his elder brother was into, I was basically 15-16 years thereabout, he told me all his brother's friends have invested in it and they are cashing out big with small investment...

He and I decided to investigate further and that was when we got to now it was MMM (money make more money), this is an investment platform that gives you twice your investment in just a particular amount of days...

We got to know this through his elder brothers conversation and referrals and slowly we started hearing it from lots of people about the new investment outside call MMM and it was at this moment we started planning to get funds and try our luck back then...

We didn't plan on investing ourselves but we wanted to give my friends elder brother to help us and then I and my friend will split the money equally when the profit doubles up...

My friend invested #8000 and I invested #10000 and that made it #18000, we gave it to his brother and he helped us telling us we should be expecting #36000 in two weeks and lo and behold we waited patiently around the corner and boom our #36000 was sent to him and I got #20000 and my friend got #16000...

We got this and we were very happy, a lot of people are cashing out big and we too enjoyed from it, we decided to not invest again since we have made enough lol...

We both agreed not to go into it again but one day my friend came to me and told me we should do it again that his elder brother just cashed out #50000 with #25000, I told him I wasn't interested in it but he sweet tongued me and I decided to try it again and get times two...

I never knew nemesis was going to catch up with us lol, my friend wished to invest all the #16000 and I tried convincing him to keep some, he was adamant and I wanted to do the same but my mind kept telling to go with #10000..

We invested #26000 naira this time and we were told to wait for three weeks, we were so happy because it was sure because we were a second timer investors lol, we waited patiently and that too with happiness and joy...

Two weeks later, we started hearing that there is delay im crediting of funds and people's money haven't dropped, upon hearing this we became anxious...

We closed from school that day and we headed home and guess what??, we saw his elder brother crying bitterly lol, it wasn't funny any longer that we decided to ask him and he was like MMM crashed and all investments are gone...

It was first like play until I saw him trying to request for funds and it was saying page down and error lolz, I was waiting for my friend to talk lol...

I wasn't laughing at all when it happened oh, it was at this moment I saw siblings tears, I wasn't even sure I could console them because we all got scammed but I wasn't really scammed but I was scammed, I lost their money to them but my friend and his brother lost both their own money and their profit from previous investments...

My eyes turned red but I didn't cry because I just kept on wondering what would have happened if I had invested the whole #20000 lol🙄🙄, I wanted to get the phone the following week but my friend pushed me to invest more and more and now money is gone and now I have to save up again to get my desired android...

In summary, I consoled my friend but no one to console me lol, it was at this moment I realized there is no free food in free town...

I heard a lot of painful loss, thousands of naira were lost to MMM, see suicide like movie because of how they were being scammed by the platform...

The funniest part was that some took loan to invest in it but they lost all the money to MMM and ended up committing suicide but ours was worth giving thanks because we only lost some money not a huge amount of money apart from my friend's elder brother who lost 150k after investing 75k...

In conclusion, I wasn't able to get my phone and not a single soul knew what happened back then because I couldn't bring myself to tell my other friends I lost 10k to MMM lol, I would have been shamed by them lol...

I learnt my lesson the hard way, if I had known I would have made away with the 10k I got but greed took the best of me that I lost the so called profit but mine was better the greedy pro max siblings lol...
