The journey of me becoming a man started about two years ago and to be specific, it was after I graduated highschool in the year 2020, I decided to live independently without having to depend on my parents for survival and it was at this moment I buckled up and went in search of a greener pastures...

I wanted to become independent and also become a man who is able to achieve his goals and desires with the help of working hard in all ways without having to full depend on others...

I knew it wasn't going to be easy but when I started to work for survival, my thoughts were confirmed and I started earning money and I realised how hard it is to make a living in this country but one thing was sure for me, I was determined to survive by all means and that was my strength...

Slowly I started to move and in no time i started making it and I was preparing for a better future for myself and my family, I had so many dreams but the resources to achieve all was not sufficient so I had to cut short some dreams but I took up the most important dreams of mine and no matter what I am determined to achieve it, if not now then in the future but the fact is that I will NEVER stop trying to make it in this country...

The year 2021 was tough and hard but I had God, my parents, my boss and loved ones as my strength which made me stronger and more fierce in fighting life obstacles to becoming someone great...

I passed through a lot and a lot passed through me but I was as firm and solid like a mountain that shaketh not upon heavy storm or wind, all this was possible because I was hard working and diligent in my work place and to God be the glory, I was making ends meet and buying new things but most importantly I was saving for my future needs...

The year 2021 passed in peace and we entered a new year only for this year to become a testimony for me, throughout 2020/2021, I worked as a teacher and a loan collector for two different organizations and I know what I saw to be able to save up for my jamb lessons and examination...

This year came in with all phases of Challenges and hardship but God sent me an helper who changed my ways and live and I started making money without hard labor but with the wisdom, knowledge and understanding bestowed upon me...

Thanks to my jamb lesson where I met investor and for one reason of the other he opened up to me and told me about the hive platform, he asked me if I was interested without telling me I will be earning well from it, immediately I heard it was based on writing stories both fictional and non fictional based I was happy and decided to join immediately...

Slow and steady he started tutoring me and I was loving it and it started making sense to me until I made my first post on the blockchain and slowly he started showing me around the block and I was getting acquainted with the blockchain and with time and lot's of help I started making good payouts on my writing and it was at this moment MY STORY CHANGED...

Investor was the guardian angel God sent to me and after some months I decided to quit my offline work to focus on blogging full time because I had started seeing the difference between working offline and working full time online, I was making more on the BLOCKCHAIN than all my offline jobs, the fact that it was crypto based almost made me want to shy away from moving further but my mentor's words made me give it a try but I was more determined to make success in this field than any other thing...

Now let's get to the interesting part of my journey to becoming a man, it was harder to stay alone than to live with one's parent, I started moving here and there with blogging as my part time job but it lasted for just a while...

      ONE GREAT LESSON...

As we all know of the popular saying that experience is the best teacher, this saying is something I find reliable because on my quest to becoming independent I came to understand many things about life and how to handle my shit myself without having to depend solely on others...

I won't lie about this year showing me sege( hardship), all this hardship lasted for good four months because I joined the hive blockchain on the 7th of April 2022 and my story changed completely since that day...

As we all know how hard it is for every newbie to survive on the blockchain, even with guide and mentoring it is still hard not to talk more of roaming the blockchain alone without any support from the onboarder and at the end such person might do something wrong which will end his career...

Mine wasn't like that because I had my onboarder with me but I won't lie to you all, it was very hard for me to start making it big on my post, I was very determined but my post payout were demotivating me and I was on the verge of giving up but one thing remained my strength and that was my mentor's story upon joining the platform newly...

He told me how it was very hard for him to earn something better in his post but he didn't give up regardless of what his post was earning, he told me he was up and running for years before his story changed and he joined SPL and started making it big and then investments followed suit and that was his success story...

This story was my strength and upon every recollection of the story, my morale and will to survive on the Blockchain grew 9 times more and I started the journey to making it big on the blockchain and I slowly started making it...

I persevered, endured, work hard, stay committed and was diligent in all my work on the blockchain and finally fortune started shinning on me when I joined the hive learners Community and the neoxian city...

I started earning well on my posts and I was trying all my best to dish out quality posts and to also engage in all form and I started achieving my goals and was setting more goals an target which I was achieving because I am very hardworking and whenever it comes to achieving goals, I sacrifice my sleep to earn my keep and till now I have never once shy away from my duties on the blockchain, I engage in daily basis, I make at least one post per day and also chat in city...

In summary I learnt a lot of lessons this year but most importantly I realized and understood some basic facts about life in relationship to the hive blockchain...

• lesson 1 : No matter what you want t achieve in life, never believe it is going to come to you easily without hardwork, always know that hardwork and endurance is the key to becoming someone great in the future...

• lesson 2 : Life will throw hardships and Challenges in your way and there will be time you cry secretly but one thing is certain with God all things are possible but you have to work hard too to make things work in your favor and endure it no matter what...

In conclusion, the lesson I learnt this year is that nothing good comes easily to us but with consistent hardwork, diligence, endurance and perseverance all will turn out well for you and you will be a living testimony and an evidence of greatness...

Hardwork, diligence, consistency, endurance, perseverance, integrity, sacrifice and commitment is the key achieving something great in any place we find ourselves...

These things worked magic for me both in my offline life and my blogging career and that is why I am a living testimony today...

A big shout out to my onboarder wherever he is and to everyone who is helping others survive in this hard times, finally I am becoming a man and soon I will be a grown man with lots of achievements and awards to show forth...

To be honest with you all, the year 2022 is one of my best year because of many reasons all of which include me finding myself and my true calling and also going after my DREAMS together with utilizing my talents to it's full potential and now I am practically making it thanks to my talents and hardwork...
