Vintage Style Dining at Lazy Cats Cafe, Ubud, Bali

I went to the Lazy Cats Café located at the main street of Ubud, Bali with my clients for dinner. I know it was a popular place, but it never cross my mind that it was a vegetarian place. At first, I looked at the menu for a burger or steak but couldn't find any. My client, looked at me, and said "it's a vegetarian place."

Ah, that's why there was no chicken, pork, nor beef.

So, then I chose some things that the closest to meat for dinner. It was egg benedicts. My clients chose some vegetarian dishes from the menu. Their food look healthy, I wouldn't mind vegetarian food. This time, though, I was happy with the egg benedicts for dinner.

The café was quite unique. It had an old style design like buildings from the 1930s. The wall around the café was painted yellowish giving an impression it was an old building. Some cracks on the wall made even the cafe looked dilapidated and old.

Old style sofa and ancients shelves were a perfect blend with the whole vintage them. There were even "old" black and white photos on the walls where customers could see while sitting on their chairs.

There were something else that caught my sight. Many of the pictures hanging on the wall were not picture of human, they were pictures of animals dressed as humans! Those animals wore fancy clothes like kings, queens, and important people from long ago.

There were images of a tiger, lion, dog and eagle who wore fancy uniforms. Their uniform look like an army general uniform, and others like noble people from the past time. To be honest, those pics looked a bit strange.
