HUGE Psyber-X Announcement!!! GAME SIZE REDUCED from 120GB to 10GB!!!
For all of you who have been wanting to play but 120GB was too big for you, we bought an extension to Unreal that allowed us to keep out the stuff we've hidden for you and only have you download the stuff you can play in now. What does that mean? Instead of needing 125GB of space, you now only need 10GB!!!
That's HUGE!!!
Do you know what else that means? That means we have 115 GB worth of Psyber-X that you haven't been exposed to. That's more maps, experiences, etc. We have SOO MUCH MORE to share with you. It's not all ready for prime time...but it's there and being worked on. Now, you get to play with just what you need.

If you're ready to play Psyber-X, all you need to do is go to our Discord to grab a free key for download.
Also, there are 3 passes that provide package deals for Psybercrates and specialized NFTs. They are the Bronze, Silver, and Gold passes. With the help of @psybersects, you can use $Hive to buy 2 of the 3 passes (Gold and Silver). See the details about using $HIVE HERE
Bronze
The Bronze pass is 1.5 avax to mint. It comes with a Legendary weapon. There are a limited number of these passes, but this is a guaranteed way to get a Legendary NFT. @bobthebuilder2 bought one just for the weapon.
Silver
The Silver pass is 0.05 Eth and comes with 10 Psybercrates (During the current sale: $50 value), 2 Legendary Weapons (value depends on market), and 1 Character (value depends on market).
Gold
The Gold pass is 0.3 Eth and comes with 100 Psybercrates (During the current sale: $500 value), 1 Character, 3 Weapons, and recognition as a Founder.
Once purchased, notify us on Discord with your transaction number/link and we'll put you on a list so you can get your Psybercrates and other goodies. We look forward to playing with you! 125GB seems crazy high for an indie game, there are massive AAA titles that don't even use a third of that. I assume these are all game assets? Are you bundling un-used assets? Non-compressed assets?
I assume the 10GB version is just limited areas pre-downloaded rather than optimizing the above?
We have optimized a lot of our game for the smaller download space. The reality is our game never took up 125 GB of space, but Steam required that much space to download it because the game was 62.5 GB of data (which is more in line).
Steam cuts it down even more on their end from what we upload to it from our system. And yes, we have a ton of game assets that are in the background, so we segregated the currently unused assets from the compilation. We have so much more planned that we have not revealed yet. If you were to download the game right now, having not downloaded anything previously, it would be a 10GB download because of this separation from planned vs ready features.
