Funny but, scary day

It is only here in my country you will see someone who is not mentally okay walking on the street like a normal human being and causing trouble for the normal ones.

While some are mentally okay but they just act as if they are not okay. It happened some years back when I was in school, I moved in with my sister when I gained admission and in my mummy's house, you must know how to greet if you really want to stay there.

So I thought that it was everyone I could greet since my mother taught me that it is good to greet, meanwhile, there was this brother in my sister's compound he didn't have a friend nor did he greet anyone in the compound which was unknown to me. So one morning like that I was washing plates outside and this brother passed so I greeted him, but he didn't answer. At first, I thought maybe he didn't hear me, so I purposely targeted him the next day but I was surprised that he heard he just chose not to answer me.

I got angry and reported it to my sister her response was, "It is only 10 people that are normal in Lagos". I didn't understand what she meant by that so I overlooked that brother since that day.

Some days after, I was outside washing plates as usual, and one guy was running from afar shouting, "Won tun ti bere o," English "They have started". Meanwhile, in that area there are lots of cultists/thugs in that area so everyone thought that those cultist had started their violence again.

Everyone started closing their shop and people that were walking started running around. It happened that the guy was living in our compound so immediately he entered the house I didn't bother to carry my plate before I rushed in and locked our door at the back, my sister asked what happened and I told her that the cultist had started fighting. Some minutes later, the guy came outside talking in the passage.

He was talking about how his club would beat another club, which was Chelsea and Barcelona match. Me and my sister didn't believe it so we opened the door only to see this guy dressed in Chelsea Jersey ready to go out and watch the ball. When he got outside he noticed people had closed so he started laughing and then asked himself why people closed shops by that time of the day.

He was talking to himself about how his club would win the match and he was shouting again and that was what got people's attention that he actually meant "they have started the match" meanwhile everyone had closed the shop already. And when I got outside half of the plate I was washing had gone with all the spoon inside the bow. At first I laughed but then when my sister came outside it wasn't funny.

I should have carried the bowl when I wanted to run but who would have thought of that when you heard cultist are fighting? Later I realized that 99% of people that are living in Lagos are not really fine.

Some people open their shop back while some has ran home, which was funny to others that heard about it.
