[ENG/DEU] Today I Really Want to Resume a Series | Day 12: The Best Thing You Heard Today Is... (win 1 HSBI for it! Or 2?)
21 days ago I paused the series "The Best Thing You Heard Today Is..." because I liked to push a riddle on my blog and wasn't willing to post 3 times a day on my blog. The last two days I was able to share some knowlege or wisdom and I am very thankful for that. It is a joy for me to share good things, which might improve your being. Just a minute ago I finished a writing to a friend and I thought that it would be great to share some things with you again. In the hope I could improve something for you. So maybe you like to join in in this very successful series we had.
Vor 21 Tagen habe ich die Serie „The Best Thing You Heard Today Is...“ pausiert, weil ich gerne ein Rätsel auf meinem Blog pushen wollte und nicht bereit war, 3 Mal am Tag auf meinem Blog zu posten. Die letzten beiden Tage konnte ich etwas Wissen oder Weisheit weitergeben und dafür bin ich sehr dankbar. Es ist eine Freude für mich, gute Dinge zu teilen, die Ihr Dasein verbessern können. Gerade eben habe ich einen Text an einen Freund beendet und ich dachte, es wäre schön, wieder etwas mit euch zu teilen. In der Hoffnung, dass ich etwas für Sie verbessern kann. Vielleicht hast du ja Lust, bei dieser sehr erfolgreichen Serie mitzumachen, die wir hatten.

This series was and is about sharing the most positive impressions. Some of the reports in this campaign may seem trivial at first glance. But are they really? I see much more how even small or everyday things have their value, what we can focus our awareness on, what we can and may be grateful for... and with gratitude from the heart, everything goes better anyway. My Contribution for Today:
For me, the best thing about today was that I was able to pass on knowledge and that this knowledge can significantly improve another person's life. In terms of content, it was about how the universe works on a meta-physical level (which is not the perfect word, but I have to choose a word that is generally accepted) and how to make use of these laws or how to behave accordingly in order to be able to apply these laws. (Sorry, but I don't want to go any deeper into this topic here. On the one hand, I have already written about 18,000 characters to my friend; on the other hand, I don't want to take a public stance on such things at the moment).
The essence of my message should not be “do this, do that, live this way or that way”, but the value of taking the time to share knowledge with the ears that are ready and willing to hear it. And how we can use it to develop the lives of others for the better.
Mein Beitrag für Heute:
Für mich war das Beste am heutigen Tag, das ich Wissen weitergeben konnte und dieses Wissen das Leben eines anderen Menschen signifikant verbessern kann. Inhaltlich ging es darum, wie das Universum auf meta-physischer Ebene (was nicht das perfekt Wort ist, aber ich muss hier ein Wort wählen, welches allgemein Akzeptanz findet) funktioniert und wie man sich dieser Gesetzmäßigkeiten bedient bzw. wie man sich entsprechend verhält, um diese Gesetzmäßigkeiten auch anwenden zu können. (Sorry, aber tiefer mag ich dieses Thema hier nicht behandeln. Einerseits habe ich schon rund 18,000 Zeichen meinem Freund geschrieben; zudem will ich mich mit solchen Dingen aktuell nicht öffentlich positionieren.)
Die Essenz meiner Botschaft soll auch nicht sein, "mach dies, mach das, lebe so oder so", sondern der Wert, den es hat, wenn wir uns die Zeit nehmen, Wissen mit den Ohren zu teilen, welche zum hören bereit sind und es wollen. Und wie wir damit das Leben Anderer zum positiven entwickeln können.

The Best Thing I heard today is the good news around my community
I actually want to write a post about thus but am not sure if I have enough to say for a proper post so here it is(with post maybe to follow)
But the short version: one of the best things about working with kids is getting to watch children be amazed at the world. As an adult it is so easy to never really appreciate just how cool nature is or how fun splattering pain on canvas can be. And while I cant step into that naivety entirely I am so grateful that I am reminded rather often.
Yeahhhhh typing this out I def have enough thoughts for a post. Thank you for the inspiration

I listened to the first two episodes, one about Thomas Fuller, a black slave in the United States, gifted in mental arithmetic who unwittingly participated in the abolition of slavery, and another episode about Florence Nightingale, who invented the graphic presentation of statistics to demonstrate nosocomial risks.

BEER.Ich hab leider kein Zitat heute aber einige Situationen die schön waren. Gestern zB hörte ich draußen als ich aufstehen wollte zwei ältere Damen. Die sprachen davon das es das zweite Haus sein müsse. Ich dachte direkt an den Arzt eine ganze Reihe weiter and machte das Fenster auf und teilte den Damen mit wo der Arzt ist. Sie bedankten sich herzlich und gingen fort. Hätte ich das machen müssen? Nein, aber es schadet auch nicht und fühlt sich irgendwie gut an. Auf Arbeit hatte ich vor ein paar Tagen einen LKW Fahrer der nicht wirklich verstand was ich von ihm wollte. Ich hab dann noch mit einem seiner Kollegen über sein Handy gesprochen und das ganze hin und her dauerte gut 10 Minuten. Ich war ziemlich ruhig und gechillt. Als wir fertig waren meinte meine Kollegin das sie schon längst ausgerastet wäre weil der Mann das nicht verstanden hat und sie hat bewundert das ich so ruhig geblieben bin.
Nur zwei von mehreren Situationen die ich erlebt habe in den letzten Tagen wo eine freundliche, hilfsbereite oder ruhige Art immer besser war als das Gegenteil. Die meisten Menschen wissen es zu schätzen.
Seid freundlich und hilfsbereit!
