Hive Cebu - Pitik Photography Shots #105

(Edited)

Hello everyone and good day to y'all. I'm back once again to share my weekly pitik shots 😁 I totally missed my chance last week but I couldn't help it coz I was busy doing a wedding photography plus I had to finish editing the photos ASAP so that's the reason why I couldn't do it last week. Despite that though I got some really great shots this week especially since in the first two days for this week were quite a "HIT". The weather was great and there's a ton of sun light out so I was able to capture some great shots 😁

The first shot above was really a lucky shot coz I just arrived at Argao's Port during this time and I saw this small boat sailing towards this guy that was fishing so I had to hurriedly take out my camera, set the right settings to the the proper exposure and BAAM. It sounded so easy but every photographer knows the frustration of having a perfect shot within your sight but your camera is in the bag 😅. If I missed even 1 second and then the second shot would have been what I got which is quite a horrible composition 😂

Anyways guys the following next 5 photos were all taken when I visited Poblacion Argao last Monday. I usually do dark/hazy/moody rendering in my photos but I felt it wouldn't really feel the same so went out of the way ang go light 😅

Those are all the pictures I will share to you guys from my trip to Argao. I had some more but I wouldn't want to include the ones that for me aren't worth it 😅

Next up is Carcar City 😁. During my bike ride here I decided to off my usual route which was to go directly to the New Carcar City Park. This time I went to Carcar Town Plaza where CarCar City Museum and the St. Catherine of Alexandria Church resides. This is also where the old Carcar City Hall resides which is now being renovated into something else as they have already moved the City Hall out of this very small place. The photo above is the entrance to this place and is the small but very nice looking Carcar Town Plaza 😍. Just like above in the Argao section, the photos below were taken here so please enjoy them all 😉

I've rendered the same image above differently to show my kind of style which is on the left side. I like to do dark/moody/hazy edits with high contrast but that doesn't mean I don't want to explore other styles as well. What do you guys think? Which of these two look much better? The "Dark" or the "White"? 😏

Honestly I didn't really expect to have included my home towns photos since I couldn't get a decent one after my trip to Argao and Carcar. Luckily though today was a lucky day indeed. It's my first sun rise in 4 days 😅. The sun rising wasn't the only thing that made it a lucky day for sure. I got some great photos this morning as well 😉. Hopefully you will like at least of these 😁

I am a firm believer of saving the best for last and in this case a literal truth. Now I do think all of the shots I've shared today were winners in my book but this last one is probably the best. I really love how I composed this shot. I could've edited it moody style but I didn't want to break the vibe it already gives. If you are curious then yes she is reading. The irony here is that she is a homeless person and most likely has a mental health issue and yet she is trying her best to learn how to read. I would have loved to have recorded how she kept trying and trying to read the words in that paper. She did succeeded in reading some of it but not all of it sadly. Anyways guys this is all for me for this weeks Pitik Photography. I just hope you liked at least one of these photos and show your appreciation in the comments 😊. Till next week! Cheers! 😉

Your shots have been great.
The last one for me, like you, also seems to me the best, I don't know if it's because of the story behind it but it moved me a lot.

Hello there 😉 Thank you for the appreciation and I'm glad you liked the photos 😊

Yes, a picture with a story behind it would feel quite different than the rest so that might be the case.
