I know that I have used this title probably before, but it always fits the moment and I have to repeat it! Another Monday, another crypto-volatile market... Our beloved HIVE went down over 10% and it hurts a lot to see the price, but...
When the HIVE price is stable, or it goes slowly up, I see a lot of comments about how nobody cares about the price, how we are all here for the tech, and how everyone is here for HIVE accumulation... Well, what are you waiting for? The time is perfect for all that... To not care about the price going down, to enjoy the tech, and of course, to accumulate more HIVE as the price is down, you get more tokens! 😃

Oh, you mean the price is not as low as you would like to see and that's why you are not buying? Fair enough... DCA is perfect if you are here for accumulation... For every dip, you buy a small percentage, and you will not buy it when the price pumps up again... 😃
Btw, speaking of price... I wasn't too much online in the last 48 hours, but I saw Ecency Discord buzzing around with questions Why has the HIVE price dropped?... Well, it looks like not everyone is here for the tech and accumulation... lol... The answer is obvious, more people are selling than buying... The sell pressure is bigger than the buy demand... Simple as that... 😃
Hive has a relatively small market cap, and these moves up and down could be very volatile and big... It's enough that one big whale sells dozens of thousands of tokens, and the snowball effect happens... Don't forget that we have additional HBD inflation from interests and DHF proposals... All that goes to HIVE, and afterward on the market to be sold... On a relatively small daily volume, all these things combined can create FUD (and FOMO when the price goes up), and push you to panic sell...
But, let's not point fingers... Lower prices mean good opportunities to pick up cheap(er) tokens... Big whales selling, could mean more small accounts buying, which leads to better token distribution... And that's something that we definitely need, a better token distribution!
Let's go back to the report numbers! As HIVE went down, the BEE tokens indexed in HIVE went up! That means a bit better APR! Unfortunately, we were extremely unlucky this week and mined the "lowest record" number of BEE tokens... 😞 The lowest number that we had in the last two years was 80 tokens, but we had fewer WORKERBEE delegations... So, this time, we were extremely unlucky... I suppose that the next week, we will be "compensated" for that!
The same as last week, we didn't have too much movement in the pool... A few small delegations from current members... Thanks for your delegations!!!
In the last 7 days we mined 80 BEE tokens in total!!!
This POOL doesn't have fees and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!
What about the bonus tokens?
I will be completely honest about today's bonus tokens... I was a big fan of the AWESOME token as it was backed by the @thisisawesome curation project, where I was part of the team a few years ago, but lately, I'm a bit worried about it... The last post was published in March this year, and I didn't see any news about the project... On the positive side, there are enough buy orders for the token, which means that you can sell them (or buy) if you wish... Maybe this is the last time when I will give away this token as a bonus... It would be great to see the project running again, but until then, I will pull a break on my AWESOME token accumulation...
There will be distributed 0.6 AWESOME tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... There will be distributed 80 BEE tokens and 0.6 AWESOME tokens as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 7.102%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 8.727%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

I totally feel your pain with the market drop dear friend. It's tough seeing HIVE dip, but you're right, it's a great time to accumulate and focus on the tech. DCA is definitely the way to go. While someone are dipping TheRingMaster wants to Work harder on Hive 😂😂😂💯💯
I saw it lower, I saw it higher... I'm not really into too much speculation around HIVE... Like you said, keeping my head down and working to get them more... ;)

That's was fun to read. The entire alt market is shaken. Some projects are more shaken than the others, Hive included. Secondly I just think we have more non-believers than believers.

Part of me feels that it's due to the "change" in Splinterlands. But we will see.

I had a talk with Achim on that topic... I would say that Splinterlands just added a bit of gasoline to the fire... The whole crypto is hit, so HIVE had to get some damage too... Unfortunately, SPL changes came at the worst time... But, there is no good time for that kind of change...
Yeah I guess the difference is that some cryptos had some room to drop, but Hive (and SPS/Splinterlands assets) are already nearing their lows so it's even much lower now.
There were less than 10k active players yesterday based on PeakD's dashboard. The battles also decreased by a lot since the pass was implemented.
Your previous comment gave me an idea for tomorrow's show! I will say only this, keep these theories for tomorrow... 😃
