Poultry farm and advantages of having a proper selling point.

One of the reasons that have discouraged people from poultry farm business in recent time is debt from customers and lack of finding proper customers at the time of harvest. Normally, rearing broiler birds could poses some challenges that could be working capital challenge, diseases challenge, marketing challenge and many more. Meanwhile, the challenges possess more threat than the other.

I don't blame Farmers that do feel discouraged because if you take into consideration the capital and stress that one passes through to produce a batch of birds before they reach you be harvested and putting them up for sales,one could be easily discouraged when after finding a customer for the dressed chicken and he or she wants to buy on debt to pay later. It's another stress entirely.

What's selling point and what solution does it proffer?

So what does it really means to have a selling point? Selling point is when a Farmer opens his or her own frozen store. It serves a lot advantages in the sense that one is rearing and still has selling point to sell it on kilo. This is to show that one is a Producer or manufacturer, wholesaler and a retailer before getting to the final consumers.

This helps to proffer solution to the issue of finding a customer and dodging the issue of debt. Though a farmer having a selling does really attracts lot of capital to start with. But if one is able finance the project, it one that's bound to pay off.
