BEING BROKE: THINGS I'LL ALWAYS DO OR BUY

As human,we've experienced being broke one time or the other especially now that's there's so much hardship everywhere and it's really telling on people. Being broke just means one doesn't not have enough money to meet financial needs or obligation at that particular time.

I have experienced being broke a lot of times in my times especially when I was a primary school teacher in a private school. It wasn't easy then because the salary was meager and for it to enough for the month,I'll have to trek sometimes to the school I was teaching because it was kind of far.

I know I was already broke before they even paid me salary then.Even now am working in a better place,I still get broke sometimes because the economy is getting tougher everyday especially for we the Nigerians but there are some things I'll still go ahead to buy no matter how broke i am even then when I was teaching and now.

DATA
Like someone I know will say data is life she will tell you that in this our country just have data and surf the internet you won't be depressed.

I always get data not for the fun only.its important with other engagements like surfing the net to know what's happening, searching for job opportunities and having links for businesses.

Not having data on my phone sometimes makes me feel am not complete and I'll just be bored. So,even if "SAPA HOLD ME",The popular Nigerian slang of saying you are broke,I'll always buy data.

DEODORANT AND PERFUME
I have been broke to an extent that I didn't have money to get all the cosmetics I need ranging from body cream,face cream,Hand cream, facial masks and all. I'll just leave them and get deodorant and perfume cheap ones because even if am broke I'll always buy deodorant and perfume at least to smell nice.

Like the popular Nigerian saying goes pls try and smell nice na money you nor get you nor kill person

HAVING OUTING WITH FRIENDS
Not every outing costs much money. Some of my most memorable times with friends haven't cost too much money. We just decide to go to a nice location,sit,gist, take pictures and order water or coke. broke or not I always have fun.

Lastly,even if am broke you see roasted corn especially when it's the season of corn I'll always make way to buy roasted corn and pear. Most of the times,I make roasted corn and pear my dinner that's how much I love roasted corn. Last month,I was really broke because of the increase in fuel price , transport fare increased and I was kind of broke. It didn't stop me from buying corn and pear

The woman I always buy from now knows me now everyday she sees me she will be shouting customer I kept the kind of corn you like.

Like the popular saying,save for raining days but it's the next day that rain will start falling. Sometimes being broke isn't nice at all but we shall overcome.
