Hola, querido hiver.

Mira con atención los principios que guían a los sabios, qué cosas evitan y cuáles desean alcanzar.

De nuevo aparecen en mi camino señales que me muestran un destino común a todas ellas. Es difícil de explicar, pero lo intentaré en esta página de mi diario, pues su función principal es ayudarme a que mis ideas se aclaren y definan.

Tengo la costumbre de anotar algunos pensamientos que tocan a la puerta de mi mente. No lo hago con todos, pues estaría incapacitada para hacer nada más. Si no duermo, pienso. Pero algunas de esas ideas me martillean. Al principio con suavidad e incrementando su intensidad si no les hago caso, como el niño que demanda la atención de sus padres.

Ayer sentí la necesidad de atrapar uno de esos pensamientos. Era perfecto para desarrollarlo en este diario:

Me encuentro desubicada por no seguir la corriente general. ¿Pierdo oportunidades o gano en tranquilidad? Estoy convencida de que ambas cosas. Trato de ser coherente con lo que hago y digo.

Cuando esta mañana he realizado mi reflexión del Diario para estoicos, la cita del día eran las palabras de Marco Aurelio con las que comienza este escrito. ¿No es maravilloso? ¡El mismísimo emperador me ha dado la respuesta a los interrogantes que me planteaba!

La solución a mis tribulaciones se reduce a un único fin. Encontrar las figuras que considero sabias y guiarme por sus acciones. En lugar de tratar de atender múltiples frentes, concentración. Cuando fuegos de artificio me deslumbren con invitaciones a desviarme del camino, de nuevo concentrarme. Si aparece una nueva forma de ganar dinero sin esfuerzo, una vez más recordar en lo que me debo concentrar. Gota a gota, con persistencia, seguir acumulando. Sin ansias. Con calma.

Para mí es más importante cumplir con mi palabra, ser honrada y seguir mis principios que cualquier ganancia rápida que después suele irse igual de rápido que llegó. Eso me permite sentirme libre, sin ataduras y disfrutando de estar donde quiero y con quien quiero estar. Eso vale… es incalculable.

Once again signs appear on my path that show me a destiny common to all of them. It is difficult to explain, but I will try to do so in this page of my diary, for its main function is to help me to clarify and define my ideas.

I am in the habit of writing down some thoughts that come knocking at the door of my mind. I don't do it with all of them, as I would be unable to do anything else. If I don't sleep, I think. But some of these ideas hammer at me. Gently at first and increasing in intensity if I don't listen to them, like a child demanding parental attention.

Yesterday I felt the need to catch one of those thoughts. It was perfect to develop it in this diary:

I find myself misplaced by not going with the general flow - do I lose opportunities or gain peace of mind? I'm convinced I'm doing both. I try to be consistent in what I do and say.

When I did my Diary for Stoics reflection this morning, the quote of the day was the words of Marcus Aurelius with which this paper begins. Isn't it wonderful? The emperor himself has given me the answer to the questions I was asking myself!

The solution to my tribulations boils down to a single goal. To find the figures I consider wise and be guided by their actions. Instead of trying to attend to multiple fronts, concentration. When fireworks dazzle me with invitations to stray from the path, focus again. If a new way of earning money effortlessly appears, once again remember what to focus on. Drop by drop, with persistence, keep accumulating. Without anxiety. Calmly.

For me it is more important to keep my word, to be honest and to follow my principles than any quick profit that then usually goes away just as fast as it came. That allows me to feel free, unattached and enjoying being where I want to be and with whom I want to be. That's worth... it's incalculable.
