The 1990s saw a second summer of love in Europe, fueled by electronic music, underground clubs, raves and the use of ecstasy to enhance the concert experience. At that time many gangs emerged with objectives very similar to MDMA. Since then the hits and sequences have become much more frequent and faster. Relics and names associated with medicine also began to be used. One of the groups that can be said to have mixed it all is 'The Prodigy'. Although it cannot be classified into a single genre, it belongs to electronic music.

At the time, it was a huge spectacle held in abandoned warehouses and factories on the outskirts of the city, especially in Manchester. Then, with the arrival of video and television, they decided to show what was happening in Europe. Not only under the influence of drugs and alcohol, but also just having a night on the town.

The Prodigy, as the title of their 1994 second album suggests, became a symbol not only of broken rhythms, but also of an entire "abandoned" generation.
