LOVE FOR BIRDS [EN-PT]

When I was 9 years old, my father gave me a couple that I, with no experience, let go, feeling very sad and I thought to myself one day I will have a breeder.

In 2016, after I was an adult and already had children, I started acquiring some birds that here in Brazil we call Australian Pesiquitos.

I spent almost 4 years breeding, reproducing and giving gifts to friends and relatives who like these beautiful birds, I also sold some to ornamental bird houses in the city because with reproduction the breeding grew a lot.

In Brazil they are considered ornamental and are allowed for breeding at home.

These were years of joy and care, below I will tell you a little about my journey with birds.

I started joining groups that talked about birds and parakeet care so that I could learn better about bird treatments and care.

I learned how to treat and reproduce so that I started to have more couples at home.

I learned that cleaning the nests after the chicks are born is very important for their good growth.

I acquired beautiful specimens of birds that took great care of their children, like the father above who never leaves his chicks alone for a moment.

As the breeding process progressed, I realized that they were able to hatch several eggs and with care and feeding, the chicks grew quickly.

I decided to invest in larger nests for the comfort of the chicks and their parents.

The boxes started to get small and could no longer fit the parents and chicks. I started removing the chicks for the parents to take care of outside the nest as they take very good care of their chicks.

I bought larger aviaries so that the chicks could be more comfortable, as they live in groups and in the larger aviaries they were able to fly and play.

• The sparkling violet male above can combine him with several females according to the reproduction of each female and the rest of the two.

• Over time and with the help of some fellow breeders of mine, I managed to acquire some mixed-breed birds, which are the combination of a smaller bird with a larger bird. As shown in the image above.

With the combination of these couples above I was able to have great reproduction and have birds of different colors and sizes.

• Each couple hatched an average of 6 eggs, I've had a couple that hatched 7 eggs.

• During my breeding, I lost a few puppies because I followed them from birth to adulthood and managed to take good care of them all.

• They used to make a huge mess, spilling food, water, shouting all the time with great joy during the day.

Final considerations:

Today I no longer have the birds due to space problems in the house where I live, I ended up having to pass them all on to a breeder friend, I found out that after some time he was also unable to continue breeding and donated some and sold others to ornamental bird houses.

But when I can have a bigger space I will try to add some couples so that I can have beautiful birds again and brighten everyone's day.

I didn't create them for sales, but because I liked them because they are very beautiful.

Quando Criança com 9 anos meu pai me deu um casal que eu sem experiencia deixei ir embora, ficando muito triste e pensei comigo mesmo um dia vou ter um criatório

Em 2016 depois de adulto e ja com filhos comecei a adiquirir algumas aves que aqui no brasil Chamamos de Pesiquitos Australianos.

Passei quase 4 anos criando, reproduzindo e presenteando amigos e parentes que gostam dessas lindas aves, tambem vendi algumas para casas de aves ornamentais da cidade pois com a reprodução a criação foi crescendo muito.

No Brasil elas são consideradas ornamentais e são liberadas para criação em casa.

Foram anos de alegria e cuidados, abaixo vou contar um pouco da minha trajetória com as aves.

Meu primeiro casal de Periquitos, com esse casal pude iniciar minha criação com belos filhotes.

Comecei a entrar em grupos que falavam sobre aves e cuidados sobre os periquitos de modo a poder aprender melhor sobre os tratamentos e cuidados sobre a ave.

Aprendi como tratar e reproduzir de modo que passei a ter mais casais em casa.

Aprendi que a limpeza dos ninhos já após o nascimento dos filhotes é muito importante para um bom crescimento dos mesmos.

Adquiri belos exemplares de aves que tinham muito cuidado com seus filhos, a exemplo o pai acima que não deixa os filhotes só e nenhum momento.

Ao decorrer da criação fui percebendo que eles conseguiam chocar vários ovos e com o cuidado e alimentação os filhotes cresciam rápido.

Decidi a investir em ninhos maiores para uma boa comodidade dos filhotes e doa pais.

As caixas começaram a ficar pequenas e já não cabiam mais os pais e filhotes, comecei a retirar os filhotes para os pais cuidarem fora do ninho já que eles cuidam muito bem dos seus filhotes.

Comprei viveiros maiores para que os filhotes pudessem ficar mais a vontade, pois eles vivem em bando e nos viveiros maiores conseguiram voar e brincar.

• O macho violeta cintilante acima conseguir juntar ele com várias fêmeas de acordo a reprodução de cada fêmea e descanso dos 2.

• No decorrer do tempo e com a ajuda de alguns criadores colegas meus consegui adquirir algumas aves mestiças que é a junção de uma ave menor com uma ave maior. Como mostra na imagem acima.

Com a junção destes casais acima pude ter uma grande reprodução e ter aves de várias cores e tamanhos.

• Cada casal chocava em media 6 ovos, ja tive casal que chocou 7 ovos.

• Na minha criação tive perca de poucos filhotes pois eu acompanhava desde o nascimento ate a parte adulta dos mesmos e conseguia tratar bem de todos.

• Elas costumavam realizar a maior bagunça derramando comida , agua, gritando o tempo todo com muita alegria durante o dia.

Considerações finais:

Hoje eu não possuo mais as aves por problemas de espaço na casa onde moro acabei tendo que passar todas para um amigo criador, fiquei sabendo que ele tambem depois de algum tempo não conseguiu levar a criação a frente e fez doação de algumas e vendeu outras para casas de aves ornamentais.

Mas quando eu puder ter um espaço maior irei tentar adiqueirir alguns casais para que eu possa ter novamnte lindas aves e poder alegrar o dia de todos.

Não criava para vendas e sim por gostar pois são muito lindas.
