So I will be sharing my market experience on how I got my New bike.
I recently sold my bike, precisely on Thursday last week, reason for selling it, was that the bike is getting too old, and am spending too much on Maintenance,
I went around told my friends about my intention, to my surprise I got a buyer within 3 days, also the person bought it for a whooping #160,000 ( One Hundred and Sixty thousand Naira ) it was a great sale, because honestly I didn't expect to sell it more than #120,000 (One hundred and twenty thousand naira).

With #160,000 at Hand I decided to add Some cash and Get another one.
I told my bike mechanic/Engineer, he told me he will come over to get the bike with me.

We decided to go today, It's a chilly morning as it just rained.

Here is My mechanic giving instructions to his apprentice to take care of his workshop

We embarked on the Journey to Gboko local Government in Benue state Nigeria to get it.
It was a smooth Journey.

We reached many Automobile Sales park, and negotiated for better deals.

We finally saw our choice in the Honda Automobile shop, located at Bristols Round About, just a few walk away from U.B.A Bank Gboko Main, Benue State. Nigeria.

There are C.Gs, Honda and Bajaj Bikes
I told My Mechanic that I love the Flashy and Large Sized GIDISON C.G 125 bike (5 geared bike) But he persuaded me not to get it, because the Parts of the bike is not readily available, the parts are also cost and it doesn't have Second hand Value. I grudgingly agreed

We picked one of the New Bajaj Boxer BM 100, After so many positive recommendations.
It cost #465,000 ( Four hundred and Sixty Five thousand naira) to purchase the Bike.

Here I told them to tear off all the nylons used to package it,

We bought a new Visco-2000 engine oil for #2200 ( Two thousand Two hundred Naira) , changed the engine oil and fixed all the electrical parts. Tighten all the Bolts and Nuts.

For Security I Bought a Lock too , the lock cost #2,500 ( Two thousand five hundred Naira)
I payed my Mechanic #3000 (Three Thousand Naira) for his Expertise
We bought fuel of #2,000 (Two thousand Naira Only)

So guys I spent a total amount of #474,700 (Four Hundred and Twenty Four Thousand Naira Only) altogether to get the New Bike Home.

It was a very exciting shopping

Thank you for being part of #MarketFriday this week! It is always such a pleasure to have you. As you can see, I am running more than late here this week. For this, I'm so sorry. While I have read your market post (I have read them all!) I had some unexpected surgery that has me unable to finish most of them. While I am fine, the swelling, bruising, and healing have slowed me just a bit. I'll be good soon. Quite miserable until then!

I am happy to have read them all pf the posts and able to send out the upvotes. A partial win for me!
I truly appreciate all of the sharing of experiences and even more, when people visit others, starting a dialogue. This is what the vision of #MarketFriday was. The understanding for all.

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can benefit a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you; it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
