Hobbies that Made me Money

A hobby is an activity usually done for enjoyment and fun, especially during our leisure time.

When you have an hobby it brings you joy and most times enriches your life. Without hobbies life can be boring, and less exciting, even pointless.
But having hobbies makes your life more interesting, it makes you more social and get to bond with more people especially when you have a particular hobby in common with them, it sometimes boost your confidence and self-esteem, it can also help you dedicate more time to building and acquiring new skills , it challenges you to do more and get better at the things you do.
Having hobbies also helps to prevent bad habits and wasting of time.

I have Two major hobbies that am very Good At, i love doing them and they paved ways to many opportunities that have brought me a lot of fortunes.

Singing

Singing have been a part of me, that keeps growing and getting better.
I love singing since I was a little child, i joined the choir, i became a praise leader and song writer.
A fun fact is that Music actually runs in My family's Vein.
My Dad is a music addict, same with my Mum, My sister is a Gospel Artist, My younger siblings are all into music too.
So Here is how I Monetized my singing hobby,
It all started after my Team won the golden Voice at The NYSC camp, we were paid a sum of #20,000, although this was relatively small considering the total number of singers on my team but it was enough to motivate me to start my Music coaching career, over the years i had a lot of students that subscribe to my lessons both online and Offline.
I also started backing Up for some gospel Artists and i was earning some decent cash too.
My friend Victor also invited me to the Hive Blockchain chain. since i joined Hive Blockchain i have really enjoyed expressing my passion for music in a rewarding and fulfilling way.
Its so beautiful doing what you love doing and being paid for it.

Teaching

Teaching has been a hobby that aided me to learn other skills. I love learning and Teaching.
Impacting Knowledge to people always gives me joy and fulfilment and the truth about teaching is that before you can teach something you already know something, you can't teach and impact what you dont know.
I started teaching students after i graduated from secondary school, i got a work at the cyber cafe, i was in charge of teaching desktop publishing and computer Usage to new intakes.
After my University, i applied for a post of class teacher in a school in Lagos, i taught nursery 1 to primary 2 pupils.
Just like i told you earlier that through Teaching i was able to build some skills like communication skills, Team work and accountability. I became a customer care associates at Nomba.co, i was also got promoted to be the state Coordinator for Company in Benue state.
Truly These Hobbies are life changers.
