Marching Forward

This year already feels much better than the last. I started strong, and I am still going strong. And the further I go, the clearer it keeps getting and the more aligned I feel with my visions. Regardless of all of the wins and losses, I am taking this moment to reflect on this month in particular and be grateful.

I was going to do the post-a-day streak this year. January was successful, and so was February. March was going just fine a few days into it when I missed a day, and so the streak was gone. I was bummed about it for a while, but I already had a preconceived perspective about the whole idea and then reminded myself of it.

The idea is to improve in any way possible. The more I show up and keep up activity here, the better I get at being a creator (and user) here, and, of course, the more my assets here grow. So I encouraged myself and maintained the status quo. Different blows in different ways this month—health and a couple of things—some more deviations happened, but I guess that's life in a nutshell.

At the start of 2023, my Hive Power was around 2000 HP, and I looked forward to reaching 3000 HP at the end of that year. I not only surpassed it but also got to 4000 HP. Considering that I was only around for roughly half of the year (putting it all together), that was impressive to me. This time, however, I raised the bar way higher.

Although I didn't have written goals or anything of the sort at the beginning of this year, I had certain accomplishments I looked forward to. Getting to 8000 HP was one of them.

I see that I have been able to take my HP from 4000 to 5000, and it's only been ninety-one days into the year. Looking at other aspects of my account, there has also been similar growth. Surprisingly, I have had the most growth in this month of March. Hold up. Wasn't it this month that I missed seven days of post-activity? Hmmm...

Moving on to other aspects of my life than Hive, something different that I started to experience this year is a deeper sense of self and awareness of my person, as well as realigning my priorities, and I have been more concentrated on it this month.

I started with something I like to call mindful shedding, and that's essentially letting go of things that either no longer serve me, are a little too much to bear, have no relevance, or wouldn't contribute to my growth in any area. And then I started putting more focus on things that mattered more.

As much as this month may not have been perfect, I think it prepared me for what I'd like April to be. I keep many of my activities running, prioritising my wellbeing and centeredness, and learning a bit more in certain areas. The hope is to expand that in the coming days.
