Hive Infographic Contest | My Entry
I decided last minute, hmm, more like last second, to give @coldbeetrootsoup 's contest to create a Hive info board a shot. You can find it here but there is basically no time left. Today, not sure at what time, the contest closes.
Not that I'm a designer, but I got this publishing software that I have never tried since I'm doing most everything, photos, pages, gif, etc. in Photoshop. That software is Affinity Publisher. Affinity has a wonderful software suite for photo editing, vector art and publishing. They're called Photo (vs. Adobe Photoshop), Designer (vs. Adobe Illustrator) and Publisher (vs. Adobe InDesign). I am using Designer for all of my vector art no matter if on my iPad or my desktop.
Anyhow, back to the info board. Unfortunately I didn't take screenshots and I most definitely didn't plan this by sketching it out first. So all I have to show you is the finished design.
Why did I add these exact elements? Because these are the most important things to me. Well, we were not supposed to add anything about the earning factor which IMO is pretty important too, but yeah - so that one is not on here.
Obviously, at least to existing Hive users, there are many more factors to Hive like NFTs and art, Hive, HBD and tokens. But to keep it simple I opted to summarize it all in

If I had started earlier I probably would have played a little with having the individual bullet points fly in or appear one after the other like in a presentation. But I'm running out of time so I am publishing it as is.
The color palette is taken entirely from the provided Hive and HBD logos. Actually, now that I think about it - in all my moving around elements back and forth, I forgot to match the green in the HBD logo. So that one is only eye-balled and incorrect. But again - no time to adjust this now on-the-fly.
Since there are dark and light mode in our Hive blogging frontends I made a transparent, a white, a gray and a black version for all needs.
