Cats - I love them!!
I also love dogs and horses and - most animals really but cats will always hold a special place in my heart. During the times I was single and working in different places around the world, for many years my cat Cassie was my trusty companion.
Unfortunately, my hubby is very allergic to cat hair so there is no way we can have a cat ever again. Well, maybe one of those hairless cats but I don't know, they don't seem to be quite as cuddly, right? Probably a misconception based on outer appearance I'll admit.
Anyhow, where ever we go and whenever I see a cat that is being friendly I'm like all in. Come here, buddy, cuddle time!!
During our recent trip to France there were a couple of those opportunities. One of them with a beautiful and big Maine Coon but I didn't get any photos, her owner didn't want any shares on social media anyhow. But this one here, let's just say, I got my
Cat Cuddle Fix
This cat is an older lady and she belongs to the B&B we were staying at. This particular evening we came back from dinner, it was still light out and the cat saw or heard us coming home and ran up to us meowing, screaming murder. Hahahah - sure, little one, I'll give you some TLC, no problem at all.
So, I stayed there with her for a little while the sun was setting and shedding some nice warm light on her. She was kind enough to do some grooming and mostly holding still so that I could snap some pictures with my iPhone.
I cropped these last two photos so that you can admire her beautiful blue eyes. I love blue-eyed cats, probably because my cat was a Himalayan with the brightest blue eyes ever - sigh. But look at this one, doesn't she look light a little diva? Gracing me with her presence and allowing me to stroke her - yeah, cats...
Cats - you don't own them, they own you.

! help(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoDas ist sehr wahr. Wir Menschen heute halten viel zu wenig inne, sind immer nur am arbeiten, hetzen, machen und tun. Einfach mal still sitzen und nichts tun - au weia, man könnte ja was verpassen.
Tätsächlich ist das Gegenteil der Fall. Die letzten Monate habe ich (für meine Verhältnisse) viel 'nichts getan' bzw. habe es mir erlaubt nur auf dem Sofa zu liegen und zu lesen. Und in unserem Urlaub in Frankreich haben wir ganz bewusst viel Zeit zum Nichtstun eingebaut. Da haben wir dann im Cafe gesessen oder auf einer Bank am Fluss oder im Park und haben im Schatten gelesen. Das war so wunderbar, es ist unbeschreiblich...

Exactly! Isn't it wonderful to just scroll through all these cute pictures? I have to do this more often to get my cat fix.

Liebenswerte Tiere, sagt einer der Mehr die Hunde liebt. Wir hatten schon viele Katzen und darum liebe ich sie auch.
Ein altes und sehr wahres Sprichwort. Hunde bekommen von mir natürlich die gleiche Behandlung wie oben beschrieben, so sie denn wollen und der Besitzer es erlaubt. Hunde sind auch wunderbare Gefährten, ich bin mit einem gross geworden, das prägt. Danach kam dann aber bald die Katzenliebe.
Besides that I like all cats no matter the colour, orange eyes are my favourite :D

Ohhhh I have now. What a pretty kitty! I wish Suzi would walk like that on leash. But I would have to get her used to it since a kitten and I didn't. She would completely freak out.
We have a neighbour here that has a tabby and he walks outside like that.
Agreed. I didn't train my cat like that either. If I ever had a cat again I would definitely start with it from very early on. Maybe one day...

Tolle Fotos, die Katze genießt den Augenblick, dass kann man ihr ansehen.
Echt schade wenn der eigenen Katzenliebe so eine Allergie im weg steht. Aber wo ein wille ist, ist wahrscheinlich auch irgendwo ein weg... Sphinx Katzen sind finde ich auch sehr schöne Tiere und ansonsten mal bitte Russisch Blau googlen!😉
Ja, ich fand das auch lustig nachdem ich meinen gepostet hatte und bei Dir vorbeischaute und mich Katzenbilder anlachten - Timing.
Die Katze fühlte sich da total wohl. Klar, ich mein, wenn sie keine Cuddles haben will verschwindet sie einfach irgendwo auf dem Gelände und vice versa. Das beste von allem, halt.
Hab grad gegoogelt und, tja, mein Mann ist schon ein recht starker Allergiker und da es ja nicht so 100 % nachgewiesen ist... mal schaun
Und hier bin ich jetzt über eine halbe STunde später nachdem ich ausgiebig das Netz nach Breedern durchforscht und mich an Katzenbildern erfreut habe. Uff - now back to work, lunch break is over.
Hahaha ich merke schon Katzen sind dein Kryptonit. Das die Russisch Blau Rasse wirklich was für dein Mann ist, kann ich natürlich auch nocht garantieren aber wollte gerne mal unsere Erfahrungen teilen. Auch wenn mann keine Katze zuhause halten kann, so besteht das Internet ja gefühlt zu 50% von Kontent nur für dich 😂✌️

She really is a cutie and so friendly, even to us as total strangers. Well, hubby kept his distance but - it is what it is.
