Short Sharp Segments
It was only a few months back l was struggling to back to back 5 km runs in the mornings. Feels good to making some progress. I wanted to practice my top end speed this morning and want to make sure I got above my parkrun goal pace even if only for a very short time (about 200m).
I think I enjoy the feeling of pushing hard to the point were I just can't hold that pace any longer and then back right off and do a jogging float until fully recovered.
I think it reminds me of the good old day and the 70m sprints at football training.
