So this morning we were up early to set up the parkrun course. It is a pretty easy job other than in the middle of winter when it is still dark and cold. We have done this job a few times now so we know where to put all the markers and cones even thought it all looks different with only a head torch to see the way. We only saw one other mountain bike rider out, and he looked like some proffessional with all the right gear and was going very fast.
The best part about this vollie roll is we still get to do the parkrun event afterwards, and end up with a double stat for the day. I walked all the hills and only jogged slowly down hill as my hamsting is still not 100%, so my official time for the 5 kilometres was 43:41 on my 456th parkrun. There were 63 other walkers and runners today and we had coffee afterwards with a hand full of them.
Just walking the hills gave me an opertunity to take a few extra photo on course. I like seeing the sun rising and there was even a few wallabies watching us.

Que grandiosas fotografías, me encanto bastante donde salen los canguros de ven demasiado tiernos ❤️
A wallaby is a bit smaller than a kangaroo but both definitely very cute
