Excellent Saturday to all, friends around the world. Excellent day to all, friends of Hive. One of the best days of the week has arrived, according to a recent survey conducted by a prestigious university. Although we didn't need that survey to know that Saturday is the best day and why, because it's #BeerSaturday Challenge day.
These past few weeks in Venezuela have been full of news, especially about politics and sports. We live in a constant mix of excitement and anxiety, distress and despair, anger and fear. But the best we can do is stay calm and wait to see what the waters bring (literally), because otherwise more than one person could have a heart attack or see their blood pressure and cortisol levels rise.
So last night, I picked up a good book I'm reading, took a cold beer out of the fridge, sat down comfortably, and spent the whole night at home, trying to relax and leaving everything in God's hands, as my mother says.
The beer I drank was Corona, a famous Mexican pale lager that many of you will already have tasted, characterized by its refreshing and light flavor. I drank it straight, without the slice of lime or the chili pepper.
The version I chose was Coronita, named for its size, 210 ml, which costs $1.50 in Venezuela. Remember that this beer has an alcohol content of 4.5%, making it easy to drink and perfect if you plan to relax and take it easy.
The ingredients of Corona Extra are water, barley malt, corn or rice, hops, and yeast. Much has been said about how bland this beer can be and how overrated it is in the market, but I think it's a good choice on a hot, quiet day.

Corona, I never knew you drank with a chilli pepper? I knew about the slice of lime, this is the most type of lager I drink, because I have to have a pint of it when I do that one type of mystery shop.
