Financial literacy, having skills, and more are also part of what students should know about.

Sometimes in school, we get carried away by a lot of things, and we forget what is important for us to know in school. Well, going to school is not enough if you don't know what you need to know. Because why will you spend like four to five years in school and you won't know what you achieved? I asked myself what the essence of coming to this school is if I do not enjoy every moment of it.

When I was in college, people barely knew me because I honestly did not associate myself with people. I regret that when I graduate and promise myself it will not continue.

What are the things you need to do and value when you are in school?

InBuilding a good relationship for the future. Building quality relationships is very important. This is the mistake everyone else makes, which is extremely bad: people go to school and avoid their fellow students. It's so bad when you do not build a good relationship in school, and this will always go a long way toward affecting us in one way or another. Sometimes we forget that the relationship we build together today is what we will look after tomorrow. When I was in school, I built some good relationships, and till this moment, we are still in contact with each other. Sometimes I wish I could just go back to school and rebuild the relationship. Sometimes I think what I did then was not enough; perhaps I should just go back to school.
I made sure I made enough friends when I was doing my NYSC program. I have friends that have my back and friends that I can call in case of emergency. Sometimes I wish I knew more about building good relationships with people.

Learning to invest. As a student, there's no way you will not see money because, obviously, it's easier to tell people you are a student and you need money. There will not be too much pressure on you because everyone knows you will need money to do one thing or another. Well, I won't say that I spent lavishly in school, but at the same time, I wish I had seen someone tell me this when I was a student. I see enough money every week. But then all I do is eat and eat. I never once thought I would be a graduate one day and that I should save enough money for the future. It was too late before I knew. Mine is still better. I've got some friends in school who say all they do is go to parties and clubs and do all sorts of things that will take away their money. For once, none of us thought of saving money.

Learning a skill while I'm at school. The situation in the country now requires everyone to have good skills; education is not a source of income anymore, which means going to school alone might not be enough. Have a skill you can rely on and be like, at the end of everything, you have something to fall back on just in case education doesn't work out.
All these are things that students should know before gaining admission to their various schools. I would say that it would have been so better if there's a mentor that guides everyone, but if you do not have one, it might be so hard to know what you need to know at the right time.
