What can you say about the power of positive thinking?
Too many times I have limited myself thinking that living with a disorder is the end of life and that the weakness that comes with my kind of ailment wouldn't avail me a quality lifestyle or will most likely make me an independent person for life.

I was meant to live in pitiable state looking for who will provide for my daily needs but truth be told I became the bread winner of the house from an angle you can never imagine.

The strengths to do anything lies within our minds. Strength to build, multiply, create or enhance a thing.
Most actions are first executed successfully in our minds before we push our bodies to align and produce a physical results.
My body wouldn't allow me do a thing but once my mind is set at achieving such things, I do not get any rest or peace until I have tick that mark.

With strength from within I have thought about a career, a financial plan and strategies to create my own wealth without minding the body constraint.

A healthy mind breeds wealthy thoughts that is manifested in our finances positively.
The mindset is our first asset, nurturing possibilities and positive thought is a first kind of investment. Once you are convince of a business and strategy within you, regardless of external challenges, achieving our career /financial goals becomes much of an easy task.

Glad you have a positive mindset. A lot of people with special needs in Africa prefer to be pitied rather than to find ways to develop other gifts and talent that they may have. Proud of you

I've said what you posted so many times. I tell it to myself a little differently.

For me I deal with many customers and many of them are not pleasant. When I was a young Pharmacist I would often find that I would be in a bad mood after dealing with them. After a little thought and a little experience I can to a realization. Why should I give my good mood to a bad person. If I become unhappy after dealing with them then that person wins and they have stolen my happiness. Now I jealously guard my happiness and try not to let any mean customer, rainy day, high price of food, or bad driver take my happiness away from me.

If you have learned that YOU have the power to see the world in a different view. Victim or overcomer in your instance. You can change the narrative and in the end change your path! So many haven't learned this. I'm glad you are posting about it.

One of my employer's favorite sayings....Life is 5% what happens to you and 95% how you respond to it. I think it fits this post well.

Thanks,

Hmmm... Over time experience has taught me alot too.
My happiness is a top priority and I don't give in to any external pressure from humans or otherwise.
Most importantly am learning to stay positive and hopeful at all time.

More like an advice and encouragement I meet with your comment daily and it is impacting me positively.
Your time and comment here is cherished.

Thank you.

😁

Thank you for the kind words and glad to meet someone else who follows the path of I'm going to guard my happiness regardless what the world throws at me. It's actually fairly rare at least in my experience.

BTW: I was checking out your profile tagline "Love, patience and Kindness"... Good sentiment. I think "Hope" would be a good addition to the tagline and I think I'll use that as a post for today .

Hope you have a great day.

Mindset is really important. And having a good mindset in whatever we do can be the thing that makes us achieve it. I sometimes see the body as a tool that's operated by the mind. If the mind is strong, the body will also eventually be strong.

Exactly.
The mind is that small wheel that pushes the ship forward.
Thanks for your contribution.
