Why I always prefer Soya milk and drinks. Ladies of hive contest 102

Hello Hive

Good morning to everyone in the ladies community today, I hope we have had a pleasant week so far and that everyone is thriving well in good health and sound mind.

It is very much an interesting contest reading about our fellow ladies preference of tea or coffee but the other interesting topic is about smell which almost everyone can relate with as well.

To talk a bit about smell, let me say that I love smell too.
Not just to inhale and drop the item this time around, I end up eating it.
My own kind of smell went further to be associated with a funny disorder called Picca... I eat whatever appeals to me through smell.
Most SCD warriors do that.

I ate sand, books, chalks, bricks, cements, raw rice or uncooked food.... 🤓😃... Yes they were all appealing.

Picca will make you eat anything.

New books smelled so great, I will end up buying new books just to start eating them from the middle.

I ate sand the most of all the above listed... Clay soil tasted so smooth and great, I ate alot of mud even when I was in my late twenties, it was the fear of getting a kidney stone or getting operated to remove these items from my tummy that scared me away...

I ate up most of my teacher chalk in class and a cup of mixed cement was better than tea, but thank goodness I survived all the negative effect of these harmful substances...

Back to tea or coffee

Well its not my fault I prefer soya milk and everything made from soya.
Soya has remained one of the baby supplement food my mum has used to grow us all.

Ever since I became addicted to the taste of soya drinks and every kind of food related to soya.

Health benefits.
Speaking with an award winning pharmacist in my locality the woman explained how soya bean consumption reduces the extreme discomfort usually experienced during menopause.
After several research on soya beans as a pharmacist she consumes this in her everyday meal either the milk or the cuddled form of it called "beske" in our local language and Tofu in English.

Soya beans also contains Omega-3fatty acid and other benefital ingredients you can find in this journal
...

I prefer tea over coffee buy soya drinks is my preference any day.

Thank you for reading through till the end, I specially invite @feesbamz our newest addition on hive to participate in the contest.

In fact, I ate sand too, the smooth one. 😂😂 As a child, I didn't know anything but will so much enjoy sitting outside while I munch the sand into my mouth.

Grandma taught us how to eat Beske and I love it so much. Many times, it serves as meat in the pot and that definitely saves us from buying meat or fish.

Well, I stopped eating beske after studying microbiology in school, everything now seems if those making the beske are not hygienic..

Before now I eat beske from street and market and everywhere...

Thanks for stopping by.

We should give you award o.😂.

I grew up believing that whatever is on the ground shouldn't be eaten because it belonged to the devil. So I didn't eat anything from the ground.😂😂😂😂...

my parents had a way of telling us very weird stories just to make us avoid something's.

Omg... That's so funny the devil truly lives in the ground and we should never eat what belongs to him. 😂

While reading your intro, I was thinking you're kidding especially when you said you ate sand, mud, chalk etcetera. Glad you are safe and sound after doing that ;)

And soya milk as your preferred drink has health benefits so that's awesome!

I have heard that about soya, but always worried about the gmo thing. I know they are good for you though. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day!💜🤗
