Having a continued flow of finance even at old age, Hive blockchain/Crypto made this possible

So long as crypto has come to stay, several benefits attach to its existence as a source of finance and wealth generation.
Crypto is neither gender nor aged limited and even adults of older age can still manage to trade and gets some benefits to it.
Adopting crypto as a youth and growing into adulthood with it would be of huge benefits as the knowledge on how to even multiply your finances is still retained.
Besides some crypto earning might even be worth more than any pension you could get paid for at a much older age.
It is a privileged that hive as a Social media hiveblockchain has provided room for this such that even at older age we still have our parents around us blogging and sharing their life's experiences with us
While they enjoy having quality time with us here driving away loneliness and boredom, they are still able to earn additional income from upvotes to support their lives.
With this I think we can have a community for the aged so that we can keep track of these older ones around us and hop in to check on their health often.
Trading and gambling might be a bit challenging task for them at this age but blogging is much easier
Earning some crypto(hive) at old age like might even provide them with much benefits better than any pension they could be paid.
Am glad to see our old mothers teaching us diy's and alot more about their adulthood on hive.

It's definitely wise to look at this whole experience from a long term perspective. These days, I really like the idea of putting a little bit into HBD here on Hive, and watch it slowly build over time... whether the 20% return rate will last, remains to be seen.

Cryptocurrency has helped a lot of people and I think the aged can also benefit from it as you said through blogging on hive Blockchain.
