Reflection Hunters: little village by the river
Walking - I love to walk. It is not just for my health but I can slowly discover places and wander off the beaten track. On this walk, I could enjoy the scenery along the Amstel River. I was approaching Nes-aan-de Amstel.

The view along the river is very picturesque.
As a result, I never hesitate to go walking here. On this particular day, I walked for more than 2 hours to get to this village.
The Saint Urbanus church is in the center of the village.
Just passed the church, there is a statue by the river.
It represents - two 18th century dutch writers called Betje Wolff and Agatha Deken. They are looking at a “book”. Agatha is a celebrated author who was born in this village.
The ladies have a great view - ensconced here by the river.
After passing the ladies, one is almost exiting the village.
It is very small and if driving one can pass it in a minute.
These are the typical houses along the river.
I noticed an old building with an interesting shop window as well.
As I was departing, I had to stop to admire the typical dutch countryside.
The cows looked so beautiful against the green field. They seemed contented and calm. They seem quite gentle as well, because these bovines had no horns. I know cows are very strong though but these cows seemed so humble.
They were not bothered by me standing by the fence - admiring them.

It is a fact that when a person goes for a walk, many new things and special things are seen by a person and by seeing such natural sights, the heart of a person becomes very happy.

The little village looks like an interesting place to be. I love walking most especially where there are beautiful sights like the above to feed my eyes.

I agree that the green field is imcreasing the beauty of cows. It is looking like a scenery well painted. Well, nature has painted it beautifully and the artist has captured it in the camera with !LUV.
The riverside looks serene. A place where one can sit calmly for hours contemplating amd enjoying the miracles of natures

It is always good to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
The shop was peculiar- next time I hope it will be open.

I'll find the Saint Urbanus church Architecture style fascinating. It's evolved over the years, but this will always symbolise it's era.
Did you go into the shop? Those must've been carved from wood. I'd be curious and fearful sametime, the horror movies I've watched over time has messed with my trust for such things (they could suddenly come alive you know) 🤣
