NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK #3: QUESTIONS ABOUT DAPPS
My bad for sending my task on the deadline day, I had some issue which I had to addressed. Let me quickly do a small introduction of myself
Greetings to all! My name is @mistural, I'm a content creator, I love creating foods and other contents (poem), and I'm excited to start working on my third newbies initiative task.
First and foremost, I'd like to express my gratitude to @starstring01 and @projectmamabg for their dedication and support.
I missed the first meeting due to a personal issue at my house, the network of my phone was very poor and I tried not to miss the previous meeting, which I did not, but there were some setbacks that day, and we had an internet connection issue, so @starstring01 decided to make a video, which I watched and will be responding to some of the questions asked, I've to sacrifice one night to do this.
1. WHICH DAPPS DO YOU USE AND WHY?
While watching the video, I noticed something: when @starstringsp01 was discussing some points, he mentioned that he mostly used the peakd dapp. There are many Dapps, including Peakd, Hive.blog, Ecency, and 3speak, among others, but my favorite is peakd, for the simple reason that it is easy to understand and has excellent features.
2. HOW DO YOU SEE HIVE NOW COMPARED TO WHEN IT WAS STILL STEEM? HOW MUCH HAS THE PLATFORM CHANGED AS A NEW USER?
I joined Hive this year, on September 17th, 2021, as far as I recall. And I must admit, I have no regrets. And now there's Steem, which I don't know much about, but from what I've heard from old members and the early adopters and for what I've seen so far, Hive rewards quality and original content, Hive despises plaigiraism, you can't buy votes on Hive, and Hive is a community-based platform, so you'll definitely find a niche you fit into. With the price of Hive going higher and higher, it's doing fantastic.
3. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING PEAKD?
This was indicated at the start of the task when I mentioned my favorite Dapp and why I chose it. Peakd is my favorite for the reasons indicated above: it's really easy to use, the features are excellent, and newcomers can easily navigate their way through the Dapp. Furthermore, peakd allows you to filter posts based on the author's username, community, or post topic, among other features.
4. WHAT ARE THE Benefits OF ECENCY?
I started using Ecency after a friend of mine on the chain introduced me to it, and he explained how I could earn points by interacting on the Dapp. As a result, I've been using this Dapp to publish my posts in order to earn points, which can be used to boost any post, including your own.
One of the advantages of employing Ecency is this. Another advantage of using Ecency is that you can use it to claim all of your Hive engine rewards. This, and many other advantages, are among the advantages of using Ecency.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING HIVE BLOG?
In my first week on Hive, I used Hive.blog; what I appreciate about this Dapp is the wallet part, where you can simply exchange your HBD for Hive or vice versa utilizing the internal market.
WHAT IS 3SPEAK?
3speaks is a web3 video service that uses the Hive Blockchain to create a video decentralized platform. This Dapp is used to upload videos, contents, or for video makers to earn money by uploading their video content. This is similar to YouTube, except that 3Speak is decentralized and built on the blockchain (Hive).
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING 3SPEAK?
I've never used 3Speak before, but I've seen a few articles written about it. There are numerous advantages to using 3Speak.
If you provide unique and high-quality content, you will be compensated handsomely.
People who aren't good at writing but are strong at speaking can easily demonstrate their abilities and earn money with 3speak.
Finally, you are compensated for expressing yourself through video, which is quite intriguing, isn't it?
HOW DO YOU EARN UPVOTES ON 3SPEAK? WHAT ARE THE KEY REQUIREMENTS?
As long as you publish original and high-quality video, you can get upvotes on 3speak through your hive account from those who love your contents, as well as through 3speak's curation trails.
Remember that high-quality, original videos will almost certainly win you upvotes, as Hive favors content that is both original and of good quality.
HOW MUCH VIDEOS YOU MUST MAKE TO GET NOTICED?
In summary, quantity does not matter as long as you contribute or create something that others appreciate; this is also true on 3speaks; you do not need to publish a large number of films to get recognized or earn support; as long as the movies are of high quality, you will be OK. Furthermore, just as it is vital to participate in 3speaks in the blogging side of hive, it is also critical to participate in 3speaks because it attracts more eyes and interest to your site or material.
WHAT IS THE BEST LENGTH FOR A VIDEO TO GET THE MAXIMUM OF THE VOTES.
The quality and creativity of the video decide the maximum number of upvotes. However, there are length restrictions. The video must be longer than one minute, according to @starstrings01. Overall, the best thing you can do is produce high-quality videos that will benefit your viewers.
ARE VIDEOS MADE LIKE PRESENTATION AND HUMAN VOICE SUCCESSFUL?
I believe so; as I've previously stated, 3Speaks encourages original videos, so making videos with your own voice will undoubtedly be successful; in fact, it will be the greatest because you are true and authentic.

IS IT HARD TO BECOME A VLOGGER?
I don't believe that becoming a vlogger is difficult; yes, it can be stressful, but if you put your mind to it, you can succeed. For me, I've always wanted to be a YouTuber; in fact, the only problem I'm having right now is with my phone's camera and how effective it is; that's the only issue I'm having right now, and I'll be able to overcome it very soon.
My advice for anyone that wants to become one is this;..
***I would simply advise you to purchase some great device (iphone and system) because of the camera and edition, then after that look at what you are good at and begin somewhere, as well as to allow yourself to make mistakes as you progress. Also, make sure you create unique and high-quality vlogs that will have a positive impact on your viewers' lives.
For instance I love creating foods contents, so if I start my vlog journey I'll relatively be posting about foods (step by steps process).
EVERYTHING SOUNDS GREAT, NOW HOW TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT AND RUN IT?
Hive has a large number of Dapps, and you may quickly establish an account using one of them.
The first step is to choose your chosen Dapp or frontend, register an account, and earn some resource credits, which will help you make posts, leave comments, and engage with other users on the platform. You can get resource credits by acquiring Hive and leveling up, or by having your onboarder delegate to you.
It's also crucial to seek into communities that interest you and to join in them on a regular basis because this will introduce you to new people.
Conclusion
Hive has been one of the best thing that happen to me in my life, infact it's the best thing that happen to me this year. I wouldn't leave with appreciating those that has been there for me and that will continue to be there for me.
