Ich habe mir mal die Market Cap vom letzten Monat angeschaut. In den letzten Monaten ist ja nicht viel passiert und wir sind meist nur seitwärts gegangen. Doch als vor 11 Tagen BlackRock den Antrag bei der SEC für einen Bitcoin Spot-ETF eingereicht hat ist BTC um 20 % gestiegen. BlackRock ist der größte Vermögensverwalter. Er betreut zur Zeit ca.10 Billionen US Dollar von institutionellen Anlegern, wie Kreditinstitute, Investmentgesellschaften, Versicherungen, Fonds, Hedgefonds, Pensionskassen, Stiftungen etc.

I took a look at last month's market cap. Not much has happened in the last few months and we have mostly just gone sideways. But a fortnight ago, when BlackRock filed an application with the SEC for a Bitcoin Spot-ETF, BTC rose by 20%. BlackRock is the largest asset manager. It currently manages around 10 trillion US dollars of institutional investors such as credit institutions, investment companies, insurance companies, funds, hedge funds, pension funds, foundations, etc.

Es ist im Moment sehr spannend und die Experten sind sich wie schon so oft nicht einig. Aber das ist ja immer so. Coinbase, die größte Kryptobörse in den Vereinigten Staaten würde dann als Depotbank fungieren.

Es ist alles sehr schwierig und ob es zu einer Genehmigung kommt muss man abwarten. Viele Firmen sind schon mit ihren ETF Anträgen gescheitert. Dann wird Coinbase gerade von der SEC verklagt, andererseits hat BlackRock bis zum heutigen Tage 576 Anträge eingereicht und nur einer wurde abgewiesen.

Und nicht nur BlackRock hat einen Antrag gestellt. Es kommen jeden Tag neue sehr große Vermögensverwalter dazu. Nur um einige große Vermögenverwalter zu nennen. WisdomTree betreut 83 Milliarden US Dollar. Invesco, betreut 1,5 Billionen US Dollar. Und der 3. größte Vermögensverwalter Fidelity ist wohl kurz vor der Abgabe des Antrags. (Knapp 700 Milliarden US Dollar)

Mit dem Antrag von BlackRock soll einer der Knackpunkte beseitigt worden sein, der dazu geführt hat das die US-Börsenaufsichtsbehörde (SEC) alle bisherigen Vorschläge abgelehnt hat. Kursmanipulation war immer der Grund warum die ETF s abgelehnt wurden. BlackRock beruft sich auf eine “Überwachungsvereinbarung” mit der Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). Chicago Mercantile Exchange ist einer der führenden Börsenplattformen.

Fazit/Conclusion:

Für mich ist es ein zweischneidiges Schwert. Einerseits wird es den Bitcoin so sehr verknappen, sodass er extrem steigen wird wenn die großen Player was vom Kuchen abhaben wollen.

Nur BTC steht für mich für was ganz anderes. Es bedeutet Freiheit. Es bedeutet keinen dritten (Banken) mehr haben zu müssen. Die Blockchain Technologie wird mit Füßen getreten. Mir wäre es viel lieber wenn es viel langsamer gehen würde. Man muss damit rechnen das die SEC sich die volle Zeit lassen wird um den Antrag zu genehmigen oder um ihn abzulehnen. Was machen die Vermögensvewrwalter? Warten sie auf das ok und kaufen dann erst BTC? Das glaube ich nicht. Es wird nur 21 Millionen Bitcoins geben wovon schon viele verloren sind. (Insgesamt dürften etwa 15-25% (knapp 3 Millionen BTC) nicht mehr herstellbar sein) Ich weiss nicht wieviel Millionäre wir auf unserer Erde haben. Was ich weiss ist das nicht jeder Millionär einen BTC bekommen wird, auch wenn er ihn haben will.

For me, it's a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it will make bitcoin so scarce that it will rise extremely when the big players want a piece of the pie.

But BTC stands for something completely different for me. It means freedom. It means not having to have a third party (banks) anymore. Blockchain technology is being trampled on. I would much rather it go much slower. You have to expect that the SEC will take all the time they need to approve or deny the application. What are the asset managers doing? Do they wait for the approval and then buy BTC? I don't think so. There will only be 21 million Bitcoins, many of which are already lost. (In total, about 15-25% (just under 3 million BTC) should no longer be producible) I don't know how many millionaires we have on our planet. What I do know is that not every millionaire will get a BTC, even if they want it.
