Park stroll!

Sunday is my favorite day of the week, as I have more time to spend with my family. We decided to get out of the house, and our outing started early, as we went to a fair that takes place on this day every week, but the best part was a visit we decided to make spontaneously to a park that is located here in my city, not far from where I live.

It was a cloudy day, and for some, that doesn't make for a beautiful day, but it's the kind of weather I like best, and taking a walk outdoors is much more comfortable. Although I love this park, it had been at least a year since my last visit, and it was as beautiful as ever. It's nice to know that they're taking such good care of a place I love so much. This is also a place that my son loves; he has fun running around the various paths there, he gets excited about the animals he meets, especially the ducks, some of which are very charismatic and love a photo!

I really enjoy spending time in contact with nature, and we took advantage of this time to go for a walk around the entire length of the park. It was very pleasant to be there enjoying the fresh air, the melody of the birds singing and the wind rustling the leaves. I can say that I have a lot of renewed energy after this contact.

But as well as this relaxing moment, we also had our moment of adventure when we rented a kind of boat to sail around the lagoon. Actually, it's not a boat, it's a swan-shaped boat that you have to pedal to navigate. And at first, it seemed like it was going to be quite relaxing too, but it was a good physical exercise, since we had to pedal tirelessly to be able to navigate the length of the lake.

It was a great time, and through this tour of the lake, we were able to see the park from a different perspective. This was a great experience for my son, as I allowed him to be the captain of the swan boat. He loved this responsibility and I was very happy to be there with him to teach him. These little details fill me with emotion, spending time alone with him and involving him in a fun experience makes me happy. And I was proud to be guided by the greatest sailor on the 7 Lakes!

Finally, we found a nice place to have a picnic and relax. Walking for a long time plus the adventure on the pedal boat was quite exhausting. But my son still had plenty of energy to spare and discovered a playground right next to where we were. As you know, children can't see a slide or a swing and want to have fun. Despite needing a break, I went there with Caleb.

After one more foray, I've definitely come to the conclusion that I don't have the energy; it's hard to keep up with an excited child. But despite this marathon, it was really nice to be there and I only saw benefits in all the activities we did. It was a good Sunday, it was great to spend a bit more time with my son and make good memories that he will carry with him for life.

Being present in my child's life is something I try very hard to achieve, because during the week she lives with her mother. So it's these opportunities that I use to bring us closer and create deeper bonds, something that distance couldn't interfere with. These moments are very important to me; it's a way of showing him how much I love him.

Domingo é o meu dia preferido da semana, pois tenho mais tempo para ficar com a minha família. Decidimos sair de casa, e nosso passeio começou cedo, pois fomos a uma feira que acontece nesse dia toda semana, mas a melhor parte foi uma visita que decidimos fazer espontaneamente a um parque que fica aqui na minha cidade, não muito longe de onde moro.

Foi um dia nublado, e para alguns, isso não representa um dia bonito, mas é o tipo de clima que eu mais gosto, e fazer um passeio ao ar livre é bem mais confortável. Apesar de gostar muito desse parque, fazia pelo menos um ano desde minha última visita, e ele estava lindo como sempre. É prazeroso saber que estão cuidando muito bem de um lugar que tanto amo. Esse também é um lugar que meu filho adora; ele se diverte correndo pelos vários caminhos que lá possui, fica entusiasmado com os animais que encontra, principalmente com os patos, alguns são bem carismáticos e adoram uma foto!

Eu gosto muito de passar um tempo em contato com a natureza, e aproveitamos esse tempo para dar um passeio por toda a extensão do parque. Foi muito prazeroso estar ali desfrutando do ar puro, da melodia dos pássaros cantando e do vento movimentando as folhas. Posso dizer que estou com boa parte das minhas energias renovadas depois desse contato.

Mas, além desse momento relaxante, também tivemos nosso momento de aventura quando alugamos uma espécie de barco para navegar pela lagoa. Na verdade, não é um barco, é um barco em formato de cisne do qual precisamos pedalar para fazê-lo navegar. E a princípio, parecia que ia ser algo bem relaxante também, mas foi um bom exercício físico, já que precisamos pedalar incansavelmente para poder navegar pela extensão do lago.

Foram momentos bem legais, e através desse passeio pelo lago, podemos ver o parque de uma outra perspectiva. Essa foi uma experiência bem legal para meu filho, já que eu permiti que ele fosse o comandante do barco-cisne. Ele adorou essa responsabilidade, e fiquei muito feliz de estar ali com ele para ensiná-lo. Esses pequenos detalhes me enchem de emoção, passar um tempo a sós com ele e envolvê-lo em uma experiência divertida me deixa contente. E fiquei orgulhoso de ser guiado pelo maior marinheiro dos 7 Lagos!

Por fim, encontramos um lugar bem legal para fazer um piquenique e relaxar. Andar por um bom tempo mais a aventura no pedalinho foi bem exaustivo. Mas meu filho ainda tinha muita energia para gastar e descobriu um parquinho bem ali próximo de onde estávamos. Como vocês sabem, crianças não podem ver um escorregador ou um balanço que já querem se divertir. Apesar de precisar de um descanso, eu fui até lá com Caleb.

Depois de mais uma incursão, eu definitivamente cheguei à conclusão de que não tenho energias; é difícil acompanhar uma criança empolgada. Mas apesar dessa maratona, foi bem legal estar lá e só vi benefícios em todas essas atividades que fizemos. Foi um bom domingo, foi ótimo passar um pouco mais de tempo com meu filho e proporcionar lembranças boas que ele vai carregar por toda a vida.

Estar presente na vida do meu filho é algo que me esforço bastante para conseguir, pois durante a semana ela mora com a mãe. Então, são essas oportunidades que eu uso para nos deixar próximos e criar vínculos mais profundos, algo que a distância não poderia interferir. Esses momentos são de grande importância para mim; é a forma de demonstrar para ele como eu o amo.
