Hive Open Mic 200 - "Show Me Heaven By Maria" Cover / Virtual Serenade To Adoore-eu [ENG/ESP]
Hello Hive Open Mic community and my fellow music lovers!
It's another week with a beautiful theme and I'm happy to be here once again to share my song choice for the selected theme by our spotlight artist @jesuslnrs and also to celebrate our 200th week on Hive Open Mic.
It's been a beautiful journey with the community since my first entry (week 118) if I remember correctly. Being active until now (week 200) is a huge milestone for me, considering the number of songs I've covered.

To celebrate this special week, I'm choosing to share the cover of a special song titled "Show Me Heaven" originally sang by "Maria Mckee".
This special week's theme is a beautiful one and very perfect for the celebration, asking us to make a virtual serenade (an online song dedication) to a friend who isn't active on Hive Open Mic. I had thought it through and through and only one person keeps coming to mind that I would love to dedicate this song to.
It's been a short while since our last encounter together on the blockchain and even in our dm but I remember a conversation with her some time ago that made entering for this week's theme easy and full of importance. So I am so excited to participate in this week's theme and...

A woman I admire so much, a beautiful and virtuous woman, good at what she does (fashion designing), a wonderful mother to my music fans and most importantly, the right friend for anyone.
Some months ago, I shared a song Sleeping Child Cover here on Hive Open Mic which @adoore-eu listened to and came to my DM crying that I made her remember a very close roommate of hers who she lost some years back. We chatted at length as she shared that her roommate loved the song so much but her favourite was "Show Me Heaven" by Maria so she requested I sing a cover of it too.
Talk of a perfect timing, I got to perfect the song well enough and this special community theme came up and it just feels right that I dedicate the song to Adoore-eu in memory of her once close roommate.
I am so sorry for your loss ma'am and I want to say "You are a strong woman, staying strong even when you've lost precious ones and gone through a lot even the ones unsaid. Keep being the amazing woman you are and let this song bring smiles to your face instead".
About the song!
Show Me Heaven is a love song about a searching for the one true love. Despite having everything else anyone could possibly want, including wealth and success, without love, it still feels incomplete and lonely without someone special to share life with. The lyrics capture the agony and ecstasy of love, and how painful and hurting it can be searching for that perfect connection.
It's an old song so the complexity in it was expected, I tried my best to sing it well enough even though I have dried vocals no thanks to the weather over here. Did an audio recording, some editing on the video with double subtitles fitting for every viewer and I was good to go for presentation to this special woman.

Ha sido un hermoso viaje con la comunidad desde mi primera entrada (semana 118) si no recuerdo mal. Estar activo hasta ahora (semana 200) es un gran hito para mí, considerando cuántas canciones he versionado.

El tema de esta semana especial es hermoso y muy perfecto para la celebración, pidiéndonos que hagamos una serenata virtual (una canción dedicada en línea) para un amigo que no está activo en Hive Open Mic. Lo había pensado detenidamente y sólo se me ocurre una persona a la que me encantaría dedicarle esta canción.
Ha pasado poco tiempo desde nuestro último encuentro juntos en blockchain e incluso en nuestro DM, pero recuerdo una conversación con ella hace algún tiempo que hizo que entrar al tema de esta semana fuera fácil y lleno de importancia. Así que estoy muy emocionado de participar en el tema de esta semana y...

Una mujer que admiro mucho, una mujer hermosa y virtuosa, buena en lo que hace (diseño de modas), una madre maravillosa para mis fans de la música y lo más importante, la amiga adecuada para cualquiera.
Hace unos meses, compartí una canción Sleeping Child Cover aquí en Hive Open Mic que @adoore-eu escuchó y vino a mi DM llorando porque le recordaba a un compañero de cuarto muy cercano a ella que perdió hace unos años. Charlamos largamente mientras ella decía que a su compañera de cuarto realmente le encantaba la canción, pero que su favorita era "Show Me Heaven" de Marie, así que me pidió que cantara una versión de ella también.
Hablando de sincronización perfecta, pude perfeccionar la canción lo suficientemente bien y surgió este tema especial de la comunidad y se siente bien que le dedique la canción a Adoore-eu en memoria de su alguna vez cercana compañera de cuarto.
Lamento mucho su pérdida, señora, y quiero decirle "Usted es una mujer fuerte, se mantiene fuerte incluso cuando ha perdido a seres queridos y ha pasado por muchas cosas, incluso aquellas que no se han dicho. Por favor, continúa siendo la mujer increíble que eres y deja que esta canción te haga sonreír".

Show Me Heaven es una canción de amor sobre la búsqueda del único amor verdadero. A pesar de tener todo lo que cualquiera podría desear, incluyendo riqueza y éxito, sin amor, todavía se siente incompleto y solo sin alguien especial con quien compartir la vida. La letra captura la agonía y el éxtasis del amor, y lo dolorosa y dolorosa que puede ser la búsqueda de esa conexión perfecta.
Es una canción antigua, por lo que se esperaba su complejidad, hice lo mejor que pude para cantarla lo suficientemente bien a pesar de que mi voz se secó no gracias al clima aquí.
