𝑨 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 ~ Wedding To Remember

Have you witnessed a wedding ceremony and you feel like it should have been your wedding? So beautiful and smooth going!

Growing up, I had always thought a wedding has to be luxurious for it to be perfect but I was wrong. Yeah, there are the luxurious wedding that turn out perfect but simple luxury gives the more a satisfying memory if you'd ask me.

I'm not quite sure how exactly I want my own wedding to be but there was one wedding ceremony I witnessed that left me wishing it was my day instead.

It was a perfect celebration and indeed a wedding to remember!

I want to believe I'm not the only one who has lots of expectations while preparing to attend a wedding ceremony of a family or friend. I would go to every occasion with a mind that I'd have a good time there and of course, find myself in admiration of something new or awesome.

It is a double expectation for me when it comes to weddings, I feel that day has to be perfect for the couple to have a happy memory of it while in their marriage. So yeah, I went to this particular wedding with a lot of expectations once again.

It was the wedding ceremony of a friend's brother.

I only knew my friend, the reason for attending was to assist in any little thing I could but I got ready for that big day with so much in mind that I'll witness another epic union... Amazingly, it exceeded that for me.

It was an outdoor setting with unique decorations, the colour of the day shone brightly everywhere as invitees kept walking in elegantly. I began to wonder if only the rich ones were invited but my friend proved me wrong when she showed to me to quite a number of them who aren't as rich as I thought they were but came in style and well packaged.

I made sure to be in the colour of the day so I felt part of the perfect view I was looking at that day. Even as far as the atmosphere of the whole place, it was breathtaking. Maybe the flowers had great scent or they added perfumes on every decoration material, one would find it hard to make an angry face in such an atmosphere, so I thought. I couldn't help but notice how happy and eager everyone was as they await the couple, I was the most eager.

If the setting could be this beautiful, how more beautiful would the couple be on their special seat.

I let my imagination run wild and amazingly, the couple finally came. I had never seen a grand entry as such, the bride looking so beautiful and full of smiles, the Groom having his eyes fixed on his bride like he was still stunned at how more beautiful she looked that day. They danced in unison towards their well decorated seat.

You know that feeling you get when you can't stop smiling as you hold up your camera to take a record of a moment.

I saw quite a lot of people feeling that way as we watched the couple grace their seat. We all settled down and the MC took over. If there is one thing I had experienced in a lot of weddings that I don't like is, MCs stealing the show from the celebrants of the day.

But the MC of this party wouldn't let us breathe from sharing so much about the couple, making them do really fun activities that seemed like the couples had been looking forward to them before. They were a perfect match as they won all the games set for them.

From the taking of vows, "You may kiss your bride", cutting of the cake, and down to the cool dance between the couple... It all seemed magical. I think the Dj for that day played a huge role and played it so well, every song just felt right as we kept witnessing that day.

Above all, every invitees had their fill for foods and drinks. Many Nigerians would agree with me that a party with no food or less food to go around mostly end up a bad attendance for them 😅 this wedding had way too much to share that I began to feel it lost it's simplicity but no, the couple just had a lot of supporters.

That day ended in style and happiness, I watched how happy people were as they left one after the other. It got stressful for myself and the others who had to clean up but the joy from what we had witnessed was more than enough to get it all done and go live with the memory.

Indeed, it was a perfect love celebration and a Wedding to remember!
