Good day to this community!
Thankfully, I'm free enough to be here feeling excited to join in for this week's competition. Still don't know how busy it will get for me soon.

As always, I'm loving all the progress here in the community especially with the new users joining for the competition and staying to learn about the new found platform. I also love that a lot more are coming as I see some old Hive users making efforts to tell non Hivers about this competition in every possible way they can.

For this week's entry, I chose to share the cover of the song "Love Me Like You Do" originally sang by "Ellie Goulding".

From how happy I looked singing this cover, the lyrics and the melody of the song, you'd agree with me that it is a lovely song indeed. The song is about asking for a love that isn't perfect but worth being into, a love that accepts flaws and grows into more love. It is a song featured in a movie titled "Fifty shades of Grey", I'm yet to see it though.

I downloaded and used an instrumental of the song, made my audio record and video to make this possible. As it's been a bit long I sang a song this long and kinda technical, I will appreciate feedbacks on how I did with this one.

It is a delight to listen to you and see you interpret this song. The covers seem very difficult to me because we have the original version in mind and it is difficult not to compare them. Your version has nothing to envy. 🤗

You gave a really fun and good vibes entry with your sweet singing, this song is indeed a powerful one with a fantastic message behind it, it doesnt need to be a perfect love, but a love that is kind accepting and grows into more worth having and holding on to

You're not missing anything with the movie fifty shades of grey, it is more sexual and fetish focused than anything else, not so focused on true love, just hollywood's weird interpetation of what love is
