In The Month Of March - A Reflection For More Growth

It still kinda feels like it was some days ago we screamed a Happy New Year and we're in April already, how fast the year go by but then, it isn't without us writing our different stories in different ways and capacities. For me, I've had more things to be grateful for than bite my finger over since this year started and the month of March is one of the best months there was.

In this post, I'll be reflecting on some of the major things I find worthy of mention that happened in the month of March and how excited I am towards the coming months because of it.

The month of March started with no much preparation on my end, I just live through everyday with no big plans but hopeful that the next day would turn out better than the previous ones to make a better month. Before March started, I applied for my country service and was sent to camp for 21 days.

March met me in camp and it's been from one event to another, it's been about me finding more things about myself, getting to know more about people and going far away from my comfort zone as I did in the month before March.

To be more detailed in my reflection, here are some glimpse into the month of March for me.

In the month of March, I was more appreciative of home workouts and mind preparation for what was to come. I didn't know it would be so strange and stressful for me in March but somehow I just fit in with little discomfort that I could bear with. Traveling from my state to live in one I knew nothing about still remains a memory I'll keep for a long time. Overcoming vigorous trainings, thanks to my home workouts and finding a strength in me, I felt grateful.

It wasn't easy adjusting to what the month of March had in store for me as the camping days were coming to an end but somehow I'm here writing about it so it was all good.

In the month of March, I passed out from camp and was sent to a village I didn't like at first. I had hopes of being posted to a good place in the capital but somehow it didn't work out for me as planned and so I found myself trying to accept the place I had found myself in. Luckily for me, I got to make new friends and learn about a community but deep inside, I would still take any chance to leave there.

So you could say I spent most of the month of March sorting for ways to relocate away from the community, well, it didn't work but it's fine.

In the month of March, I explored more in the kitchen than I ever did. I've been cooking and eating but I've been trying new kinds of dishes since March and it's been an amazing journey for me. From regular recipe to strange recipes, I plan to try them out and the month of March mark the beginning of that decision for me.

In the month of March, I earned more money for myself, spent a lot on myself and family and on friends. I got to save some in the month of March and I think I felt more prepared entering the month of April thanks to how March went for me.

In all, I'm grateful for the month of March and feeling very excited about what this month has in store for me. So far, it's been going well and I pray it continues like that.

Hi corper😅.

The first 3 weeks is always kinda confusing or discomforting from what I usually hear.

Staying in an entiry strange, state and community is weird to me. I hope there's no language barrier where you were posted to.

Now that you've shown us the soup, what do you expect us that are already salivating to do 😂😂

It was really discomforting but somehow I had fun amidst that.

Oh no! There was no language barrier at all, it was English all the way lol.

Stare at it more 😂

It is that "I earned more money for myself" for me. Where is my share now?
I could remember when you were preparing for camp and how it all went for you. You actually scaled through the month. You better stay in that community and connect more with people. You don't know why the Lord took you there 😀😀

Imo state and no, I didn't. I wanted to after I saw where I was posted to in the state but it didn't work.
