Oceanside Pier - San Diego, CA [EN/PT-BR]

Hello everyone!
I'm back with another cool flight using my DJI Mini 2. This time I went to Oceanside to take some pictures of the pier. Oceanside is the northern costal city in San Diego County. I had to drive up to Los Angeles for a day, and on my way back I stopped in Oceanside for this quick flight.
The Oceanside Pier is the longest wood pier in the west coast of the US with 1,954 feet (596 m). The original pier was built in 1888 and destroyed by a storm a few years later, a few others were build afterwards, and also got destroyed by storms. The one in place right now, the sixth one, was build and open to public in 1987.
This pier is a very popular attraction, many people go there just for a walk and for the beautiful views, but others also go for fishing. There used to be a restaurant at the very end of the pier, but I think it got closed during covid and never reopened.
Flying there was pretty easy, I was able to park at a parking lot right next to the pier, and took of from right next to my car. There are no flying restrictions at all in that area! Very rare situation here in San Diego where most places have restrictions.

Olá pessoal!!
Estou de volta com mais um voo interessante com meu DJI Mini 2. Desta vez eu fui para Oceanside tirar umas fotos do pier. Oceanside é a cidade mais ao norte na costa do condado de San Diego. Eu tive que ir a Los Angeles um dia, e na volta resolvi parar em Oceanside para um voo rápido.
O pier de Oceanside é o mais logo pier de madeira da costa oeste dos Estados Unidos com 1.954 pés (596 m) de comprimento. O pier original foi construido em 1888 e destruído por uma tempestade uns anos depois, alguns outros foram construídos ao longo dos anos, mas também foram destruídos por tempestades. O que esta lá agora, o sexto, foi construído e aberto ao público em 1987.
O pier é uma atração muito popular, muitas pessoas vão até lá para uma caminhada e apreciar o visual da costa, mas tem pessoas que também aproveitam para pescar. No final do pier costumava ter um restaurante, mas foi fechado durante covid e nunca mais reabriu.
O voo foi bem tranquilo, eu consegui estacionar no estacionamento bem ao lado do pier, e decolei bem ao lado do meu carro. Não tem nenhuma restrição de voo nessa área! Um fato raro, ja que aqui em San Diego a maioria dos lugares tem alguma restrição.
