Are You Getting Chaos Luck?

I maybe jinxing my luck here with this post but I got to talk about it because its been itching me for a bit and today seeing what I earned for my daily rewards made me even more determined to discuss this item.

Today I pulled two chaos packs out of six chests. Now I am playing in gold league and technically gold II which is middle of the pack. For your info this makes me rank around 500th in the gold league.

What is very interesting is how many Chaos packs I have recently pulled over the past week just in daily reward chests.

Since the start of this new season I have in total pulled four packs in daily reward chests. That is like pulling one pack every other day at current numbers. All this opening approximately six chests a day, which is not a lot of chests mind you. So how come?

A guess of mine of the increase in Chaos pack drops is that we are getting closer to the release of the latest card series. With any additional Chaos packs still held by Splinterlands they are distributing them at increase rate in order to empty out the remaining packs and make way for the new series coming near late Summer.

Heck I don't mind earning more packs as it stands. In fact packs have the greatest liquid value in the reward chests now since soul bound cards are locked up and not often do everyone get large sums of SPS.

So curious how have you guys been rewarded lately with those daily reward chests? Are you seeing more packs pulled and if so what is your general feelings as to why this is happening?

Congratulations on the packs. I haven't had any luck with chaos legion packs lately but I think that staying in Silver is starting to look detrimental but I still want to upgrade my cards before I move up to Gold for good.
